Graduated from OU, and is a GTR at UNLV. Good pick-up for the Rebs. Confirmed he was coming back as a Grad Transfer.

I know our chances are less than 0.01% and Alabama, Texas, Texas Tech, and Kentucky are among the schools showing interest in Kaluma, but it would be fantastic to see Kaluma in Red/Black like his brother on our next run to the Sweet 16. Kaluma was ranked in ESPN's Top #100 NBA draft rankings, plus attended the NBA draft combine and worked out for 7 NBA Teams. Aside from Sieko, and the two games SDSU played against Creighton; I cant find any other links to SDSU.

So while I would have loved Arthur coming to SDSU, I *really* don't see it at this point.

agree would guess that he might be looking for a school where he could play the 3 or maybe the 4 and the position that could need the most assistance is the 5

Trammell, Butler and RDW at the guard positions (it likely would take away most of Byrd's minutes). But it seems unlikely with our lack of NIL $$ unless Seiko convinced him to come.

would seem the position that could need the most assistance is the 5 - so would guess the coaches the coaches see if there is a quality 5 they can bring in or if per chance there is another top player that they think fits the Aztecs style of play - as we hear quite often not every transfer fits the program .

Not necessarily related to us this year, but a blast from past caught my eye. Ed Chang, of the Nate/AG class, is in the portal looking to play a 6th season. Was a benchwarmer at Idaho St last year. We sat with him at a dinner & got to know him. Absolutely terrific kid, and he could shoot. Sorry to see it hasn't panned out for him yet. Hope he lands somewhere that allows him to play & he can finally get that shot to go in frequently!

Bob Huggins embarrassed himself as a drunken, bigot, asshole who endangered many, driving with a BAC of.21% and a hefty bag of empties, resigned last night, and the NCAA allows any player now to transfer within a 30-day window.
He first was fined $1,000,000 after making homophobic, anti-catholic statements before his bender. Oh, BTW, he got paid $4,200,000 a year.

It'll be interesting to see if any bail.

WVU had a massive haul in the transfer portal. It'll be interesting to see if any bail. Jesse Edwards... but would he even consider us? He'd be the perfect fit from our perspective (5th year; fly swatter), but from his I'm sure if he did leave it'd be to somewhere that would make him a focus and play him 30+ minutes (like 'Cuse did). He's not playing 30+ minutes here.
