Hey. Me again. Back on Earth, a Democrat just won a special election in Alaska, where the seat had been owned by a Republican for 49 years. The Dems are gaining momentum, are going to take the Senate and the fight for the House is on. It's almost like the SCOTUS overturning Roe v. Wade was a one big ass mistake. Ranked Choice Voting is at play. Normally there would be a party primary and an election. Now we have a system where 2nd, 3rd, or 4th voter preferences mean just as much as a first place vote. Weighting the voter's intensity for their 2nd thru Nth vote is unknowable. But giving them the weight of a first place vote is a joke and meant to enable election corruption by other means. I mean really, many times the 3rd or 4th place candidate is nothing but a kook or worse - a plant. In the Alaska case, the total votes for a GOP candidate swamped the Democrat. But because the Dems voted with discipline for the Democrat 1st and the RINO second and Palin last, the Democrat won. Its a mechanism for machine politics to overcome the will of the people. Well, at least the Wasilla Hillbillies were endless entertainment. Remember the Sarah and Bristol "Abstinence Tour"? fleecing the Cult is like candy from a baby...just like orange carnival barker is begging for funds right now. Note to the brain dead...he's not even running..its a ruse.

All the Begich voters had to do was vote for Sarah Palin as their second choice, and Palin would have won. They didn't vote for Palin as their second choice. That's not machine politics. It's also important to remember that about 25% of voters have no party affiliation. These voters may just not like Palin (or liked Begich and Peltola more). These swing voters are not a part of any party machinery, and what's nice about that is that with ranked choice voting, they can vote for the candidates that they like regardless of affiliation. You can criticize the result (a Democrat shouldn't win in a red state!) but I would welcome ranked-choice voting in every state, including blue ones, even though it might benefit the Republicans more then the Democrats in those states. I'm all for voter choice and weakening both political parties.

It could be even more rediculous in other cases. It is a joke. The key in this election was the Democrats running only one serious candidate. Strictly disciplined machine politics knows how to work this system and did. BTW, Did you check who some of the major funders of the initiative that brought RCV to Alaska were?

Wait but it would have been the exact same result if it was just Palin vs. Peltola (like how it was before ranked choice in Alaska). Alaska liked Peltola more then Palin.

And the resident gasbag who has no situational awareness or knowledge of, well, anything? chimes in. An unmistakable message, hm? Like...what? We just had a "Republican"president. (Trump isn't even one, but I digress) We just had a Republican controlled Senate. We just had a Republican controlled House. The results were an unmitigated disaster, giving rise to a con artist and cult figure that brainwashed a segment of the population into believing he was a deity and managing to turn a once respectable political party into a propaganda machine full of disinformation, conspiracy theories and sycophantic behavior. Liz Cheney was routed because her own political party put that con artist, grifter and fraud ahead of their own party and their constitutional oath. Trump endorsed her opponent and it's no coincidence that the new secretary of state in Wyoming is an election conspiracy theorist and myth perpetuator who believes in the "Big Lie." Republicans are losing steam, though - Polling indicates that Democrats are now favored by margin to retain the Senate, even if they lose House seats. Turns out that some people aren't that stupid and actually have the ability for independent thought; go figure, right? Gross abuse of power and corruption? Read the room, flute player. Donald Trump's administration set an untouchable record for criminal indictments - Indictments that are still being handed down and sentences still being carried out as of this very day. You're in a cult, you were brainwashed by a failed reality TV star as bankrupt morally as he is financially. Be proud of that. It is truly a badge of honor to respect a man who said he would sleep with his own daughter. Maybe one day you'll figure out where inflation comes from, who controls monetary policy in the United States, why gas prices don't involve the president, what an unsecured border really looks like and how many brain cells you lose on a daily basis absorbing baseless lies from a sounding board of total horseshit. The FBI conducted a lawful search warrant on a former president who broke the law. We know this because he's broken the law and skirted the legal system for his entire adult life. Imagine devoting time to willingly pursuing an agenda defending a near 80-year-old man credibly accused of fraud, sexual assault and a multitude of other crimes. Play it again, you're out of tune. The sad ramblings of a demented liberal democrat. Take the VR goggles off, your side is going to get trounced in November. 30-40 seat advantage for GOP in the House, AND the Senate goes to the Republicans as well. Biden and the current Democrat Congress have done a $#!+ job. Even a demented person like yourself should be able to see that. The gift that keeps on giving. Less than a month later, the Dems hold a > 75% chance to head the Senate and are making gains towards keeping the House. Lindsey Graham's proposed national ban on abortion, two months before the election? Smart choice.

Yes, dude came in here with a lot of trash talk. Wanted to bet everybody....not that strangers in chat rooms generally want to bet. Well, since he is on the sports pages and is obviously passionate....there is one thing he understands....and that's...Scoreboard!

I'm calling it right now - FRAUD!!!
All the Republican wins are fraudulent! STOP THE STEAL!!! Time to file lawsuits and take action! I have indisputable proof of fraud and dozens of elections being stolen! (And, no, I don't have to show proof. I know it's fraud, because I say it's fraud - stolen elections!!!!)
Too many people are not confident in those Republican wins, they feel it was unfair somehow. Therefore we must hold off on installing any Republican in office and investigate.
That's how it works, right?
