And in Florida, Judge Cannon grants the DOJ's reconsideration motion that would have made the witness list in the case public. She's doing an excellent job of doing just enough to stay on the case.

Trump's legal team submitted a motion asking Judge Cannon to indefinitely postpone the scheduled CIPA hearings because he'll already be on trial in New York. The DOJ responded with laughter and a motion compelling Cannon to eliminate the delay tactics.

It's still absolutely wild to see this in print. Absurd amounts of corruption, putting the nation's security at risk.

Shameful.

Been a minute... Trump lackey Aileen Cannon, in a hearing yesterday, indicated she was unlikely to grant the DOJ's request to expand the gag order to prevent violence against federal agents. She argued that redactions would be sufficient protection. No ruling, so no appeal yet. Jack Smith filed his opposition brief last night in the twilight hours, again highlighting how damning the evidence is against the former president and how serious the charges are. In addition to yesterday, arguments will be held today over the classified notes of former Trump attorney Evan Corcoran and whether or not Judge Cannon will throw them out as admissible evidence. If she does, this may *finally* be what gets her removed on appeal to the 11th Circuit. abcnews.go.com/US/trump-expressed-concern-returning-classified-docs-after-subpoena/story?id=111383032

Trump announced he plans to sue the DOJ for $100M for the search warrant execution on Mar-A-Lago. Good luck with that. Can the DOJ sue him for bringing a frivolous lawsuit? Force him to pay their legal fees plus penalties.

Force him to pay their legal fees plus penalties. He's already facing sanctions and penalties in New York along with Alina Habba for frivolous filings. I think DOJ would welcome this suit, personally.
