Ugh. While being interviewed by Special Counsel, Biden couldn't remember his VP days, and many other important details, which was ONE of the reasons they didn't recommend him going to trial. Really sad.

Worth noting that Hur distinguishes completely the incidents between Biden and Trump, saying Trump's alleged retention and refusal would present "serious aggravating facts."

(NOT a minor detail incoming)
Jack Smith, in the late hours of Thursday night, filed a motion to "reconsider" an earlier ruling from Judge Cannon that would have put potential witnesses in harm's way. Cannon ruled that the list of witnesses could be published without redactions and made part of discovery for the defense.
Smith's motion is VERY unusual. He specifically mentions the 11th Circuit ruling that already smacked down one of Cannon's previous orders. He also argued that Cannon's reasoning doesn't apply to discovery. Cannon responded by extending the deadline to February 23rd to make a decision on Smith's motion. If she denies the DOJ, Smith will likely appeal immediately to the 11th again. Cannon could find herself off the case before long.

Just throwing this out there. I'll believe that Trump has a chance to win the election as soon as the Betting Agencies have him favored to do so. Those guys and gals are wizards, and warlocks. Just sayin.

Jack Smith filed his response to Judge Cannon's request to seek jury instructions and it's a scorcher. DOJ implies they will seek mandamus in the 11th Circuit if Cannon pursues.
