Awesome. Got me excited! This is exactly what SDSU has needed for decades.

Drove by a few weeks ago when they were testing the scoreboards. Threw some birds up in the air for Dean Spanos who refused to ever spend money to update to a modern scoreboard at the Q. So refreshing to see on that site. For the record Deano has still never ponied up for a scoreboard anywhere as he prefers to be a freeloader.

Good article. Photos of the food venues, suites, locker rooms, etc. would be nice!

Amazing. This will make entering the stadium so much more pleasant.

Amazing. This will make entering the stadium so much more pleasant. Can it tell when I've stuck a couple of beers in my wife's purse / bag?

Amazing. This will make entering the stadium so much more pleasant. Can it tell when I've stuck a couple of beers in my wife's purse / bag? According to video it doesn't look like it. The demo showed the buy entering with a metal can of sun screen and a metal water bottle. However, I wouldn't be surprised is they still examine the contents of bags. We'll see soon, but not soon enough.

I thought he ponied up for the videoboards at their rented soccer stadium? Oh well. Screw Spanos.

Is SDSU offering any type of tour of the facility for people of San Diego to come take a look - especially Citizens who Voted for the New Facility for SDSU and the San Diego Community

Is SDSU offering any type of tour of the facility for people of San Diego to come take a look - especially Citizens who Voted for the New Facility for SDSU and the San Diego Community I'm sure once the stadium is open they'll have occasional paid tours available, plus community areas such as bar areas will be open during the week even on non-game days. Don't lose sight of the fact people voted for the land sale and haven't paid a penny for the stadium unless they're buying tickets.

The point is San Diego Citizens Voted for SDSU West and the new facility
Could SDSU offer a free View of the Facility - maybe even have Ticket booth - easiest way to sell more tickets - is letting people come see the facility

I have absolutely no idea. I've never owned a flask or even held one in my hand. But I figured the metal containers shown in the video would be easy to detect if that was the goal.

There are ads going on promoting ticket sells. If they want to tour, PAY, buy tickets or simply donate to support the actual spending on the stadium. People seeing freebies are rarely the ones who actually pull their wallet's out when push comes to shove. Voting to SELL the land to SDSU was free. The benefit to voters is how all that land helps the city. If someone wants free access, take a walk in the Riverwalk park when it's done.

Someone can also go see a Wave game on the 17th for $10. Or wait till the 28th and see the SDSU mens soccer team play Washington and maybe there will be even cheaper tickets.
