Anyone saying we should have kept the Q probably hadn't been in it for a long time. The only legitimate gripe I think would be the lack of shade. Some daytime events may be quite hot. Shade?! Ever been to Sun Devil Stadium? NO SHADE and that place is in friggin Tempe. In fact, other than Husky Stadium in Seattle, I can’t think of a single college stadium on the west coast that has “shade”.

So your argument is other older stadiums are miserable in the heat so ours should be as well. Got it! And don't get me wrong, I'm excited for this thing. That's just the one thing when we drive by my wife and I have commented on that wasn't positive.

It would have been so much more enjoyable for day games. Oh well, maybe next time.

See LAFC's stadium for a good example. Also if they did want an MLS tenant it would have made it a bit more attractive. But please go on with your retractable roof jokes, they're hilarious.

We’re not like most futbol fans (pu**ies) that need shade lest we melt in the sun after a few hours. We’re made of sturdier stuff my friend.

a bit worried we will not sell out the stadium for the opener. prices are too high it seems even for the resellers.

Folks, it's SD. Even when it is "hot", it ain't humid. And we dominantly play night games. Overblown complaint, especially when you hear folks complain it gets chilly when the shade hits. Dress appropriately, hydrate, and have fun.

I mean, the blue hairs used to get mad when they had to get out of their seats at any given point during basketball games and want the music turned down in time outs, soooo... ya know. We ain't Tuscaloosa when it comes to fan commitment

I picked top row of sec. 120 so that I will sit in the shade every game. Check it out. Top row in southwest corner just left of the pier overhang.

Those who live in destitution are the minority, contrary to what the media wants you to believe. The economy is doing well despite the inflation. Jobs are plentiful. Many fans have the money to enjoy the new stadium experience. So as always, it's the product on the filed that will determine attendance. Not the ticket prices.
