You've been through more than me? How old are you? I was a HUGE Chargers fan for decades, too. Ever since they hired Don Coryell in 1978! Losing that team really hurt, but Dean is a horrible owner. My first Padres game came in 1976 with Randy Jones pitching... Yep, before you. Been to Padre games since the early Seventies, and Charger games as well. I was in the end zone for the holy roller game against the Raiders. I go back to Enzo Hernandez, etc al. When Enzo would come up, the announcer would say, "Now batting, number 11 little Enzo, Hernandezzzzzz!!! Gene Locklear, Nate Colbert, all those guy's. So, yes, before your time. Were you there for Nate's 5 HR/13 RBI double header?

2.5 hours left to make a deal for Willson C. i mean he forgot the catcher in his mock line up I know, but it's important to note that there are still two hours left to make another deal … and a catcher upgrade is available from the Cubs…

Al "The Bull" Ferrara… Even Jonny Podres played for the PadresPadre lore.

Voit AND Hosmer gone.
Better pinch me. Can't be true.
Now, if they could just rehome Grisham… 2 hours left

Were you there for Nate's 5 HR/13 RBI double header? Trick question? The game was in Atlanta. I was three years old at the time so my memory's a little fuzzy

The Padres are acquiring Brandon Drury from the Reds, according to Ken Rosenthal and C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic. The return is not publicly known at this time.

Love it!!! The Pads team went from not having much power, to a team pretty much loaded with power. Wow!!!

Hate giving up Victor Acosta, but Drury provides good depth and versatility. AJ is really all-in.

I'll never forget Tigers starter Dan Petry smirking as Bevacqua rounded the bases, as if thinking, "Enjoy your one win..."

What a stud. I can't remember the name of the other stud baseball player on Trammels team that year, but he was a stud as well. Made it to the pros. Whittaker, I think?
