On a more positive note -- because, as you all know, I'm all about balance and positivity -- I'm hearing that you are in the PAC and, in fact, your inclusion is part of the TV negotiations. So unless something really ugly happens, you're in. Maybe your sources have some insight into whether or not Snapdragon Stadium will be built. |

I said, "...unless something really ugly happens, you're in." Kind of a difference and all still depends on the PAC TV deal. If ESPN is indeed out, and there are inadequate linear TV options, something really ugly could happen. |

Interesting WSU president interview
Starting around 32:20
- says pac-12 is definitely not going anywhere
- mentions he expects deal sometime this summer
- says one of the media partners is ready to sign today but wants to wait 6 weeks on the announcement because the optics of letting off thousands of workers while signing a billion dollar deal looks bad. (Feels like that’s gotta be ESPN)
- mentioned expansion while happen after but also in parallel to signing a deal.

Considering the topic of "Big XII Mexico", where Big XII football & basketball games would be played in Monterrey and Mexico City, name me the #1 possible Big XII school actual fans from "Mexico" would openly favor & cheer for in record numbers (I've already heard opinions of this topic on more than one occasion on these Big XII youtube channels).
One video favored the BYU "Cougars" because of the large LDS population metrics throughout the country of Mexico. Another talked about possible future Big XII member Fresno State "Bulldogs" because of the Hispanic population demographics around the Fresno area... while another video pointed towards possible future member Arizona "Wildcats" because the school is located about an hour north of the US/Mexico Border. Each video conversation failed miserably to present the obvious overwhelming choice:
The #1 team fans across "Mexico" would obviously cheer for would be none other than potential future Big XII member San Diego State "Aztecs"!!! The "Aztecs" would no doubt dominate local fan support in any given location throughout the country of "Mexico"! And the best part? A local "Mexican" Montezuma could make his appearance throughout the stands among the fans of Mexico... coupled with various local colorful Mexican Aztec Warrior Folkloric Dancers... and the local crowds would cheer in a wave of delight in support of our teams wherever SDSU decided to play their games!
In all honesty, Big XII "Mexico" could be the hidden gem SDSU Athletics needs to grow the product. Maybe the Pac-12 could do something along the same lines. Mexico isn't reserved for "only" the Big XII you know...
