I like to watch two different sides argue about losing their freedom and then telling the other side the freedom they are losing isn’t a freedom they should have in the first place.

In today's "How the country is imploding" chronicle of events: Clarence Thomas thinks the COVID vaccine was developed with aborted babies....and the Supreme Court has agreed to take on a radical voting rights case from North Carolina.
This is REALLY bad for democracy. The case would grant state legislatures rights in federal elections with no checks and balances from the court system.

Damn, this whole thing looks like its heading to implosion. Meanwhile, I've been in France at Brittany coast for the last month. Haven't seen a homeless person since leaving LA (not to say there aren't any in Paris), have not been cut off in traffic once or seen anyone run a red light, the food quality overall is higher and the cost of living is 2/3rd, no guns other than law enforcement and the random shotgun for birds...and this is the "Socialist" Country that the Right has hated for years.....sorry, but for now ...America has become the shithole.

Really great. Langoustines, crabs, fish..all fresh..no cat food like our big supermarkets. However. they hit it pretty hard here. US does a better job with protected zones. Of course these whacks could make those unconstitutional! |

Also, Murican freedom is a myth that only exists in our propaganda. The actual freedom the founders wrote about was the bourgeoisie freedom from the monarchy to govern. That was it. We basically created a new version of the British Empire without the monarchy. Our Constitution codified bigotry. The founders didn't even consider Black People an entire person and they saw women as second-class citizens without the same rights as men. |

These were store employees who openly mocked an American couple not realizing I was inside the store too. I buckled under pressure cuz I didn't want to be treated like dirt 😁 |

Not the U.S. court making news today. Wisconsin's Supreme Court, in a split 4-3 vote, rules ballot drop boxes are illegal and voters must deliver ballots to the clerk or the clerk's authorized representative. And so it continues.

It will be dealt with when one dies, anyway. Jesus gave us a free will, but some decisions have man's law that you must abide by, and some are just a no brainer. In the case that you posted, it's really an absolutely heart breaking thing she went through. Unfathomable. There's many evil, monsters out there. She's too young to make that kind of decision on her own, if she did. |
