The game happens the day before ours. If San Jose wins, does that clench the West for us? San Jose can be a tough opponent and they would be playing this game to be bowl eligible so I don't see them just lying down and taking a loss. I'd still prefer to see us win out but its just interesting to consider.

Yes, a San Jose win would give fresno three conference losses.

Hard to see San Hosie beating Fresneck at this point in the season, but stranger things have happened.

SJSU v CSUF is a straight throw out the records rivalry. This game is in San Jose. In 2013 undefeated Fresneck went to SJSU to play the 5-6 Spartans weekend after Thanksgiving. I was visiting the bay area and listened the the game on the radio. David Fales went full Ty Detmer for Sparty and the won 62-52. Anything can happen in this game.

Hard to see San Hosie beating Fresneck at this point in the season, but stranger things have happened. Why not? San Jose has a good passing game, and being at home they could throw a monkey wrench into Fresno's hopes. Anything can happen, and Fresno is not a sure bet at this point even with the team they have.

I don't know why you would say that. We're every bit the sure bet that we were at Hawai'i and at home against Boise. I'm a natural worrier and I'm worried.

Spartans are playing at home, against their bitter rival, with a chance to win and go bowling. I'd worry if I were you too.

I have no doubt that they will play to win.

Fresno is probably the favorite, and they may win, but the Spartans may not go down easy.

If SDSU wins we get to play in Carson no matter what and there wouldn't be a chance of playing Boise again. We need to win. SJSU winning is good for them because they become bowl eligible.

I'm glad that San Jose is not bowl eligible yet, and this will be the deciding game for them, to make it happen. That's obviously a VERY good motivational factor for the Spartans. I'm looking forward to watching the game.
