Actually the Civil Rights legislation was passed with a lot of Republican support….you see there were too many KKK Democrat members who opposed the bill. Ferguson? Charlottesville? You are really struggling to come up with examples here….while the race baiters we’re playing it up for CNN and MSNBC, there were over 40 African American males shot and killed on the streets of Chicago and NY, but they somehow don’t count or aren’t covered are they? So much for your side caring. Yes, the spike in gas prices is totally on Biden, his administration has put the USA back on OPEC’s Christmas card list. I gave you two examples of other civil unrest just in the past few years. Joe Biden wasn't president in 2020 when gas prices started their increase, so wrong again. If the Musician would stop spanking the (dog has simian qualities) and actually use critical thinking..he'd see that the UK, Germany , Russia, China and most of the globe is in an energy crunch right now. Gas stations are actually closing over much of UK. Much of it has to do with impacts to the ability, and efficiency, to move fuel due to Covid impacts affecting trucking etc. There are other complex factors as well. However, looking this deeply into issues is not the Musician's forte. |

After all, Joni Mitchell and Neil Young got Polio and did just fine..as well as a handful of other famous people. Of course I know a couple people personally who were crippled for life. My sister (64) got a breakthrough Covid case and ended up in the hospital on 02 and Remdesivir..she bounced back great and is fine..her unvaxed roommate(55) was in worse shape and wished she'd been vaxed..its a complex issue and we will see where it goes. my personal opinion is that America is being held together by duct tape, cable ties and bailing wire...blame who you want, but the end game is not nice for any of us. |

The new COVID pill reduces death and hospitalizations by 89% (according to the people that said the mRNA was 96% effective, anyway...)
Why would we just now start enforcing mandates, when according to these numbers, at-home rapid testing and a pill is much more effective than, say, my Janssen vaccination?
Make it make sense.

Let's see, we got rid of Polio with a vaccine. We just about eliminated measles and the mumps and a handful of other diseases with vaccines. Kids are REQUIRED to get those vaccines before they can go to public school.
People get flu shots (of varying efficacy) every single year.
But suddenly, somehow THIS vaccine, to prevent death from a disease that has killed over 750,000 AMERICANS is suddenly a problem?
Sounds to me like people are being manipulated by a political party to feel threatened and outraged, when they should just gratefully get their freaking shots and help reduce the number of people who die from this thing.

First, we've heard this before. Second, people are still dying in large numbers from COVID. It still isn't safe to just live life like the old normal. It just isn't. Vaccinations and boosters will make it safer, but not as safe as we were before COVID. |

It still isn't safe to just live life like the old normal. It just isn't. It ain't so bad out here. Life is going on. Safe is a relative term, and compared to the old normal, sure, it's about 0.01% more dangerous to live a normal life on any given day. |
