how many times this year have the padres left a runner on 3rd or scoring position? (often with less than2 outs) how does this compare with other teams? how many misplaced fly balls have there been by Profar, Pham, and Grisham? it just adds up to another typical padre season. A LOT!!!

Slammin' Stammen. 1 inning, 2 home runs.
Good grief.

Well, they managed a 2 game win streak before falling right back into the same old patterns of losing baseball. What a mess.
And can we please auto block that stupid screaming kid the same way his mom blocks the internet site?

Caratini saves the day in the 4th inning to keep the drive alive after Myers and Grisham wimp out at the plate with no outs and two runners on base. Both Grisham and Myers went on to do absolutely nothing else at the plate tonight.
Not sure why either one of them is out there right now.

It's difficult to understand how so many "good" players can collectively play badly for so long. The entire OF and Catchers suck and most of the bullpen have gotten lit up lately. To be fair, they're been overworked for a long time because our starters sucked.

Now you got Machado and Tatis screaming at each other in the dugout.
Manny is maybe a little jealous of El Ninos stardom?

I think Manny was upset because Tingler had to sacrifice himself rather than have Tatis thrown out for arguing the horrendous calls by the home plate ump.

Wow atmlb.com/3lBV2t3Vet flaming the "almost" rookie. A teachable moment, indeed. If management had that kind of vigor, this team might not be gasping it's last breaths… "It's not about you…"Manny +1

And...just like that, Tatis Jr is back in CF.

And...just like that, Tatis Jr is back in CF. Unserious team moving Tatis off the infield now that Cronenworth is healthy. Just senseless.

AJ Preller and Jayce Tingler.
Both should be thanked for their dedication and then shown the door come the end of the month.
…as Hosmer strikes out again.

And...just like that, Tatis Jr is back in CF. Tatis drops the ball because he's so worried about the runner tagging up for home. Very basic, rookie mistake - the type that you might see in high school or college. You have someone learning how to play center field in the middle of a playoff race. Such a bad look honestly.

I was told it wasn't about justifying playing time for the worst first baseman in baseball.

I think Manny had a point. seems to me that tatis's ego has out grown his present playing skills. he has the skills, but the long season has worn him down.

Padres are imploding at a rapid rate. It's yet another predictable chapter in the ongoing saga of this organization.

Tomorrow's day off should be spent packing up a few of the team flailers… and DFAing a few others.
