That is total garbage and I can't believe you are buying it. Trump will not be convicted in the Senate and everyone, *EVERYONE* knows this. There is zero chance of there ever being a vote to bar Trump from office. It is theater for the sake of theater. I'm not saying it's going to happen, but that is the goal of the idea. Doing nothing is not acceptable. Doing nothing sets a precedent that lawlessness and open acts of insurrection have no consequences. The fact that there's cries for evidence now when there was no evidence allowed the first time is typical garbage. The evidence was on national television. It's open and shut. A vote not to convict is dereliction of duty and means the party fears Trump more than the consequences of what took place. I really don't know where the line is anymore. What will it take for some backbone to be shown? Marjorie Taylor Greene's expulsion is being proposed. That's inadequate, but it's a start. We've gotten to the point where getting a QAnon nut-job (someone who makes Alex Jones look relatively stable by comparison) out of congress is now debatable. And Republicans have assigned her to the House education committee. Education folks. Yes, please espouse the virtues of the GOP some more.

"They walked the articles of Impeachment over to the Senate". At least they know the way to get there.

His frustration, high levels of racism and a populace that is mostly "incapable of critical thought". hmm. fine, but you don't want those attributes in positions of decision making and power. Of course I know you do.

She believes the Sandy Hook shooting where 20 children under the age of 6 were murdered was also a false flag.

She's a whack, POS nut job and the sooner she can be dismissed -- the better.
To moderate Conservatives, and even to many far right Repub's -- she doesn't rep the party anymore than moderate Democrats think AOC, Omar, Talib, etc. represent them.
Her rhetoric is dangerous though, and I have no stomach for it.

Jewish space lasers? ?

The GOP is now a Trumpist party.

@benshapiro. Twitter
Mitch McConnell: MTG is a "cancer" on the Republican Party. Media: Republicans are the party of MTG now! Nancy Pelosi: I think I'll pose on the cover of a magazine with Ilhan Omar. Media: The Democratic Party is moderate and fully rejects anti-Semitism.

Multiple? McConnell's the only one named and he didn't even name her. Quite the leap of faith by him.

Steve Scalise was brutal and endorsed Greene's opponent on the spot. “The comments made by Ms. Greene are disgusting and don’t reflect the values of equality and decency that make our country great,” Scalise said in a statement. “I will be supporting Dr. Cowan.” NRCC's official statement is they they're "personally disgusted by this rhetoric and condemns it in the strongest possible terms." There are a large number of rank-and-file Republicans who have also condemned her. You are living in a fantasy land by pretending she's been universally supported by the GOP.

Hypothetical for you: very left leaning BLMer runs unopposed and is elected to congress. Once in, you find out she's a member of a well-known, pro-jihadist conspiracy website, and she subsequently is interviewed and spouts off gibberish about how all cops are evil and part of a sex-ring cabal. You defend her to your grave in the name of democracy, I presume?

And then there is this.... Sorry, but strongly worded "anonymous" statements don't do it for me. McCarthy gave a statement through a spokesperson that was woefully short of adequate. Remove her from committees. (They won't) and it's embarrassing.

You defend her to your grave in the name of democracy, I presume? There is a lot to untangle there. First, I am not a big supporter of democracy so I don't defend anything to the grave in the name of democracy. Second, your hypothetical candidate, with the exception of the sex-ring cabal accusation, is very close to Representative Rashida Tlaib. I've never asked for Congresswoman Tlaib to be expelled from Congress even though I don't support her antisemitism, racism, anti-American agitation, and anti-Law Enforcement Officer rhetoric. Representative Tlaib was duly elected and should have a seat in the House. Mostly I ignore what people say and instead judge them on what they actually do. Does that answer your question?

Remove her from committees. (They won't) and it's embarrassing. I hope not. She is a bag of cats but theories about Jewish Space Lasers causing California forest fires is pure gold. If the media is going to stop doing their job and refuses to ask Biden any question harder than "what is your favorite flavor of ice cream?" then we need something to keep these people employed. Think of her as a jobs program that doesn't cost taxpayers anything.
