Noone updated the coup attempt here on this thread since Jan 10th, and it's now the 24th.
With new revelations of more evidence of a Coup attempt I will just leave it at that and pray they nail the bastard.

I would amend that statement to: "bastards".

Not sure what is more pathetic? A January 6th Committee that interviews someone who thinks that Donald Trump speeches and tweets sent out to millions somehow commands him personally to commit crimes or a January 6th Committee that thinks speeches and tweets sent out to millions by Donald Trump somehow constitutes apriori coordination with specific individuals? Sorta like the BBC London broadcast's to French resistance fighters. John has a long mustache...

Well, if you know the full timeline and all the actions Trump too, the Tweets leading up to and the speeches ON January 6th are just the tip of the iceberg. I've posted the document that showed that Trump had the order sent out that the National Guard could not be used at the Capitol on January 6th. No weapons, no interaction with the crowd, nothing at all to keep the insurrectionists from storming the Capitol. And even that is just below the surface. This iceberg is deep and it is wide. Supporting Trump after January 6th is just kind of sad. Party before country kind of stuff. Very Anti-Reagan era Republican, too. The idea of giving support to Putin (which many Republicans have) while condoning a coup attempt is really unbelievable. But that's where the Republican Party is in 2022.

John has a long mustache... ....Or that someone thinks January 6th is somehow benign...and somehow not as malicious as intimidating a Supreme Court Justice. Is Schumer culpable for the Kavanaugh attempted assassination? Sanders for Scalise's? BLM leaders for the mayhem during the Summer of Love? The issues are that political rhetoric is not actionable commands for the sake of the law and any criminal activity in the wake of that speech is likely not the fault of the speaker. The other issue is that only one kind of law breaker is not being punished in these cases. Kavanaugh attempted assassin? Yes. Scalice Shooter? Yes. Jan 6th rioters? Yes. SCOTUS Judge initimidators? No. Selectively not enforcing laws at the expense of one's political enemies is as corrupt as twisting the law and specifically persecuting one's political enemies.

There was NO attempted assassination. The guy surrendered. No shots were fired. There was no danger to Kavanaugh...at all. Stop being gullible, for once, please. You're once again producing red herrings and false equivalencies in a futile attempt to correlate arguments. Intellectual dishonesty really serves no purpose here. Both the "assassination" and the actual attempted murder of Scalise were textbook cases of mental health crises. Bernie Sanders is as much to blame for James Hodgkinson shooting Scalise as you and I are. Unless Bernie told him to go shoot Scalise, which is absurd, let's assign blame where it belongs. This country has stigmatized mental health for a long, long time. How can you say in the same post that intimidators aren't being arrested when Kavanaugh's was? The consequences of hijacking the court with unqualified candidates like Amy Coney Barrett are real. The editorializing by Republican buffoonery to try and equate Scalise's shooting with women angry about the Supreme Court rolling back their fundamental rights is idiotic, misleading and typical radicalized behavior. It's about sewing division, inciting anger and stoking flames. January 6th is on an entirely different level. It's not comparable in any way, try as you might to equate it to largely peaceful protests. Stop killing unarmed Black people. Don't blame BLM for the cop/gun complex this country has.

How much of an attempt can it be...when the alleged assassin calls the cops on himself? " The man with a gun arrested outside Brett Kavanaugh's Chevy Chase, Maryland home called the cops to turn himself in, court documents allege. The man, who identified himself as Nicholas John Roske, called Mongomery County Emergency Communications Center and told the person on the line that he was having suicidal thoughts and had a gun, according to court documents." www.businessinsider.com/man-with-gun-at-brett-kavanaughs-home-called-cops-on-himself-court-docs-2022-6The guy didn't even make an attempt...nothing but a person seeking help.....

Stewart Rhodes found guilty of seditious conspiracy due to January 6 BS. He could get 20 years. Will he throw the tangerine nightmare under the bus??

The only coup attempt was Hillary and her fake Russian dossier. Of course she was abetted by a crooked and dirty DOJ/FBI. If you lefties are ok with a dirty criminal in the White House like Biden, along with his inept policies, you should shut your pieholes about Trump.
