Other than that there was something about Trump having pictures of President Xi on his hope chest when nearly all other detractors are calling Trump racist for labeling it the China virus, Wuhan virus, or Kung Flu. I have no idea what to do with that and it certainly isn't a point. It is simply more personal insults but this time directed at Trump. If there was anything to be gleaned from your post it was that you don't seem to understand the difference between a cogent point and a personal insult. Here's just one example of not being able to rely on aggregate data for a full picture...it's incomplete, as every state functions differently (or not at all)...so the statistics don't mesh.

Economic growth still lags pre-pandemic levels. Millions still unemployed, evictions on the rise, COVID still rages. Nobody cares about some treaty between Bahrain and Israel, unfortunately, while the domestic picture is so awful and continues to trend worse. |

Journalists do not get paid to tell you the truth. Journalists get paid to make you click on the link. Fear and hate are most likely to get your click. Modern journalists are no more than merchants of hate and fear. They may have been something else once upon a time but not now. Then I guess we can officially say there are no news outlets anymore. Just totally biased opinion hacks. And vile ones at that. There isn't a single news outlet that I trust. On every story that catches my eye I end up reading multiple sources from opposed points of view followed by brushing up on technical details mentioned in the coverage. I do often learn things but listening to the news can be exhausting. |

Even on his way out, Trump cares more about the citizenry and the economy than does the Democrats. Cuomo, for example, exposed their hand and they want to slow it down so CVS, Rite Aid, Costco, etc and your hospitals don't make most of the money in play here (beyond Pfizer) as they distribute the vaccine. They want some public works project to be the delivery mechanism. Money/power for the bureaucracy and not speed of delivery is #1. |
