Can you believe that the MSM, SF tech and Adam Schiff are actually claiming that the info on Hunter's Lap top is Russian disinformation? Raise your hand if you too are on board that train to denial! Same as the bogus jobs report that came out in August. While there are signs of economic recovery, it's nowhere near a complete picture. Unemployment is still rampant, people are broke, COVID's still a major issue in schools, homes and society in general. |

I went to AZ this week and did a hike on a fairly popular trail. We were in the significant minority wearing masks. People are seemingly over the fear mongering for the sake of control. They are adults and know the risk to themselves and their loved ones. Sure, leftist like to talk a great game about lockdowns but we see the Cuomo's out and about, Whitmer's husband outed before he broke protocol, Nancy's bad hair day, BLM/Antifa protests are somehow immune from spreading Covid, etc., etc. Our vote is not a valentine or an offer to go live with the candidate. It is about who you want to lead on policy matters. The economy will come back quicker under Trump, schools will be opened sooner under Trump, Covid restrictions will be less under Trump (and will lead to some extra deaths due to covid but less will die from deaths of despair), the vaccine will be out sooner under Trump and our lives will return to normal quicker under Trump. At this point, if you are afraid of Covid, you know what to do to protect yourself. I am 100% OK with Trump being the guy to lead policy versus the Socialist Trojan Horse Biden. |

We are not currently trending worse. Economic growth is trending in the upward direction. That is good. Unemployment is also currently trending toward fewer unemployed people. That is not to say it is good or where we were, only that the current trend is in the direction we want it to go. As for COVID, that too is trending in the direction we want it to go. COVID deaths have been trending downward since the 3rd week of July. The topline is down almost 60% over that period while the mean is down over 38%. That is a good thing.  The case rate is rising but it is not rising faster than the increase in testing. The number of people testing positive as a percentage of total tests is down. The number of hospital beds occupied by COVID patients is down. The number of ICU beds occupied by COVID patients is down. The hospital mortality rate is down. On top of all of that we are 4-6 weeks away from a vaccine being approved. By almost every measure we have, the picture is improving. That is not to say the problem is solved. Obviously it is not but it is trending in that general direction. |
