Sorry for rambling off all these stats. I'm just really impressed that they had the extra gear to step up like this against a good team.

The announcers and halftime talking heads were totally singing Creighton's praises, not giving any credit to SDSU at all (with Creighton behind a lot at the half). After the win they suddenly felt that SDSU was for real.
The East Coast Bias and ignorance is staggering.

When talking about the best team of the 4 in the tournament at halftime of our game, they didn’t even reference our first half result or the result of the first game. Sad FS1 would even air it. Just have the play by play guys handle commentary.... But yea Even the live telecast took 30 minutes to get off the praise of Creighton and give sdsu the love they deserve. I hope we continued to get overlooked. This team plays with little arrogance/entitlement and all grit |

If this tournament was on CBS Sports I'm sure Carter Blackburn would be giving us all the praise. |

No idea what the rest of the year has in store, but this feels and looks like the team to get the program back on track. Hyperbole? Maybe, but this team plays defense just a notch below our high seed tourney teams, and has an offense those teams never had.

MARCUS ZEGAROWSKI - 3 of 16 shooting tonight. 1 of 10 on 3's. He was a 50% 3 point shooter coming into tonight.
Along with 4 turnovers and only 1 assist. He killed their team tonight.
I feel like watching the game again to see if he was that bad, or we just defended him exceptionally well tonight.

Acker has our defense back at a high level. These guys want to get after it on defense and challenge everything.
On offensive I love the ball movement. Lots of shooters. Yanni in the post is a problem. Mensah only getting better. Wait till Feagin and Flynn both get going. I think once conference starts both of them will be at another level.
Iowa is a huge game. It’s a must win. Another statement game.
