Line opened at SDSU -1. Like the early respect for our Aztecs. This is an extremely important game for us as the MWC is falling apart in OOC play.

We need/should be +10 on the boards and +5 for turnovers and play good defense during their sets and we win the game...

This is an interesting spread. I would’ve guess SDSU +1 or +1.5. This probably gets bet down to a pickem.

This is an interesting spread. I would’ve guess SDSU +1 or +1.5. This probably gets bet down to a pickem. Reminds me of when Creighton was favored against us when we were at home and ranked in the Top 25. I thought for sure it should have been SDSU -3 that game, but I think it was SDSU +1 or +2 Let's hope Vegas is right again |

If it's true Creighton has 3 guys shooting 45% from 3 then it should be Creighton -5.

We'll obviously defend the 3-point line. The key will be whether our guards can stop dribble penetration, and what Wetzell and the Mensah non-brothers can do defensively when the ball gets into the paint. And, of course, will our shots start dropping again?

I'm feeling good about our team defense overall, and I'm sure Dutch and Acker will emphasize closing out and driving them off the three point line. My main concern, and its a newer one, is now that teams have a bit of tape on us, how are we going to score and avoid another 8 1/2 minute drought like last game. That was truly painful to watch. Teams will game plan for Jordan, and his looks will be few and far between since he's not great at creating his own shot. Need to find him in transition to get him a few open looks to get things rolling. Seems like when he's on, we're all on.

I don't think Creighton is much different than BYU...a bunch of medium-sized guys that can shoot...it's a Wetzell/Mensah game...hit the boards offensively...and get them in foul trouble...make free throws....

Dutcher’s reaction to the long scoreless spell in the Tennessee State game I think was a good one. He said we just missed our shots. There were a few layups missed and Flynn and KJ missed some wide-open shots. One has to assume that with their history, they will hit those in the future. I’m less concerned about long stretches of scoreless play again especially compared to the last few years.
