isince weber state held the Aztecs to 6 points, I'd say we were playing at their level or they were playing at our level. just one solid or lucky play would have turned this laugher into a loss. if this is what we can expect from this year's version of Aztec football, I doubt he crowd count would go over 35k for Alabama, Notre dame, Clemson, Ohio state, any Florida team, any Texas team, or you name it. it was a win and 1-0 is better than 0-1, no matter the opponent. for now I'll go along with an earlier comment: Horton is hiding and saving the good stuff for ucla. time for a football win against l a. Sure hope so Oldie. Kept telling my kids that. Although deep down I am not sure he was playing vanilla and not showing UCLA what we really have. Not sure Horton is the sly old fox we are hoping. Yes, thats how bad our offense is, Brady would come in and move the ball. He doesn't know the playbook, any of the calls and signs. He would fail miserably. I think what you are looking for is a Head Coach to step in and tell the OC that this is enough, just pound the ball from now on. You are right, i am looking for leadership but alas that is too much to ask for SDSU |

This is a threadbare subject. We have a PAC game every year going forward, sometimes two. Sdsu has scoured all the conferences and there are no takers for home and home. The big boys have little to gain and something to lose by playing us and risking a loss. We, like UCF, have reached a pt where nothing less is acceptable. They just turned down an offer for 3 away and two home with an sec team I don't recall. That's Rocky talking, not me surmising. Now, I have to point out that FSU has a home/home with Minnesota and Wyoming with Missouri. How does that happen? I think it's about guaranteeing those visitors $$$$$$ for coming to Fresno and Laramie. all I've made my point. Nuff said. I don't know about Minnesota, but Missouri might be a good home and home. Worth the guarantee if we could actually beat them. BTW how is Wyoming hosting Missouri? They also hosted Texas not too many years ago? We get Weber State. Huh?  |

They also hosted Texas not too many years ago? We get Weber State. Huh? After that win they probably won’t be hosting them again anytime soon. Missouri probably saw it as a win only to get Cowboyed at high altitude. Great win for Wyoming! |
