Houston adjusted O is 31, D is 18 on kenpom
Sdsu is 69 and 36 respectively.
Gonna need to play in control way more than we have.

I just read their message board to see if they knew anything about SDSU
They don't know much about SDSU. Maybe one poster or two on their board said something that wasn't completely stupid
I do find it funny those idiots assume:
1. The Aztecs aren't athletic
2. Houston will be the most athletic team they faced all season. I actually LOL'd to that comedy
3. They will run us out of the gym
It's the same type of arrogance they had before the bowl game
I'm really looking forward to their excuses just like the bowl game

There's no need to get worked up either; it's just another case of lack of knowledge and understanding about either team and overly-confident fans. |

Houston finished ranked 21st and lost in their championship game to Cincinnati by 1 point. Haven’t seen a minute of their play this year so this will be interesting. Right now I'd rank us between 20-25, with the ability to beat teams from 12 and on..... This... Houston is good and could and maybe should win this game, but I guarantee you that they are saying, really! The committee knew exactly what they were doing here. They put one of the hottest teams in the country and a team who without significant injuries would have more likely been a six or seven seed against a team from the AAC. No doubt it was intentional... |

Houston is not a tall team, but they have beefy guys. We have the length, defense and can go up tempo as well. As long as we win the rebounding war we'll be alright. I think Houston is overrated. From looking at their schedule they really haven't beaten anyone. They beat Cincinnati once, (almost a second time this morning) and Wichita St. twice. RPI of 17. They are no joke. True, but Nevada as sitting at about 15 when we beat them the first time and at 17 on Friday morning. |
