I watched their game earlier today against Cincinnati and they are pretty good. It's gonna be a tough game but they're beatable. They are similiar to Nevada but better IMO. Their starting line up are in terms of height and weight are listed below.

If Kell has to do it all again, I don't like our chances. Other guys better step up big. I just have this hope that McDaniels shows up in a big way. He's so damn good for being so young. Someone else needs to step up, I agree. Look for Mitchell maybe to be that guy, he isn't your typical freshman. Hopefully that guy is Max...we need to see the Hoetzel...not Montana...yesterday he hit a back breaker...he needs to be that five in a row dude again......

Clog it with what? Rooks can’t play 40 minutes. Have you not seen what thick bigs like Jordan Caroline do to Pope & McD? Hell, even Furstinger caused issues for stretches, and he’s bad. Yeah, we need to be hot from the outside. I'm worried about foul trouble guarding their bigs. They're athletic and strong. We have trouble against that. What bigs?...Houston has one guy...one...that doesn't play much...: Davis Jr 6-1 Brady 6-8 250 Davis 6-6 225 Gray 6-1 Robinson Jr 6-1 www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/team/roster/_/id/248/houston-cougarsThat's their starting line up...this is a team of shooters...just like most every other team in the MW...Houston has match up problems with SDSU......

I've stated it in my other posts, but I'm saying their girth. We have two twigs guarding girth. Hopefully we don't get in foul trouble. We need Rooks to guard well and stay out of foul trouble.

I hope all our guys fight like hell for the next 2 games. At the end of the tunnel is the best home court advantage anyone in the nation can have for sweet 16 at Honda Center.

Well, if they have shooters Thee AZTECS will have to defend the perimeter. Rooks, Pope and McDaniels should abuse them in the paint/lane. I think Narain may have his way with these guys on missed shots!! JMO

I thought for sure he'd get in against NM since we could have used some fresh legs against their press. He had been playing pretty well, I thought.

They remind me of Washington State with more defense. Small 3 guard lineup with thick interior guys. If they get hot from 3, it’s going to be a tough game.

I've stated it in my other posts, but I'm saying their girth. We have two twigs guarding girth. Hopefully we don't get in foul trouble. We need Rooks to guard well and stay out of foul trouble. If they try to run into the paint for shots. it will be all about our footwork. Take the charge. I think the game will come down to face guarding their guards attempting perimeter shots.

If Mitchell avoids foul trouble can their gnats deal with him?? Good point. They certainly aren't strong enough. Come to think of it, he may be the key with his driving ability against them and his three point shot. His girth will help against their girth.
