If Kell has to do it all again, I don't like our chances. Other guys better step up big. I just have this hope that McDaniels shows up in a big way. He's so damn good for being so young. totally confident that we are heads and shoulders better in the paint. will clog the middle if we have too. Hope you're right. If that's the case, Rooks will be getting a lot of playing time. As for me, I'm not so confident. |

Have you not seen what thick bigs like Jordan Caroline do to Pope & McD? Hell, even Furstinger caused issues for stretches, and he’s bad. Yeah, we need to be hot from the outside. I'm worried about foul trouble guarding their bigs. They're athletic and strong. We have trouble against that. |

This is who State could’ve played as an 11/12:
Kentucky
W Virginia
Clemson
Ohio St
Houston
Miami
Florida
TCU
The only teams I’d definitely rather NOT play over Houston are Kentucky and W Virginia. People here are seriously underrating Houston.

Have you not seen what thick bigs like Jordan Caroline do to Pope & McD? Hell, even Furstinger caused issues for stretches, and he’s bad. Houston has 2 forwards with limited offensive skills, and 3+1 undersized guards that weigh right around 200lbs. I saw what Caroline did, and i saw what Pope and McD. if you are going to use the last two games against us, you are going to need to find better examples. |

Even a 12 seed vs Clemson would’ve been better. We never seem to catch a break with seeding Seriously!?!!? The second round game for a 12 plays the one seed!!!!! Reconsider your thoughts!!! You have to play the 1 eventually anyway. |

Houston is gonna be very tough, it would be nice to win atleast one game since the teams after that looming are Michigan and UNC The only other teams I think would be better to face would have been florida, TCU and OSU. It sucks that its another G5 program as they usually play the underdog role and never over look opponents based on conference affiliation. Now we just need a late afternoon start or later, and ill be happy. |

The physical toll, and us getting in foul trouble because of their girth worries me. Hopefully our quickness will overcome their bulk. |

I live in Dayton. So there are a lot of AAC games on here w/UC. I've watched Houston probably a dozen times this year. They are extremely good. Devin Davis is is a match-up nightmare. Have to put Pope on him or Jalen w wingspan. Rob Gray is a tough scoring guard who is physical.
Our bench is better and will be the key. Rooks will need to add some solid minutes. AAC basketball is physical but prone to lapses in offense. Control boards and play uptempo situational then Aztecs win. Allow them to get out to a Dbl digit lead and be reliant on scoring in bunches then we get beat badly.
