What's the measure of being "in every game they play, with chances to win?" You could say that about literally every team in America. That took zero research on my part; it just comes from years of both watching and playing basketball. It's clear you know nothing about basketball, so maybe you should pipe down. Geez, how far are our expectations sliding when we start minimizing losses and bragging about winning on the road? Look, I get it – it's tougher to win on the road than at home; that goes for every conference in the NCAA. But seriously, when we start calling wins at Air Force or at San Jose State "good" or "solid," we're in trouble. Imagine the trouble we would have been in had we lost last night. No trouble. Just the cronies trying to bring us down to their miserable level.

Imagine the trouble we would have been in had we lost last night. No trouble, just more of this going around on loss days/days after: This post is hidden Display Post btw, WPOTB keeps baring his ass, but he must enjoy the um, exposure. It is HARDER to win on the road in the Mountain West than pretty much every conference in the country; last time I looked at it, the only harder one was the ACC. In MWC case, almost entirely due to altitude and brutal travel conditions, particularly for the non-elevation schools. That is one of the reasons so many of the people in the know want us out of the MWC. I'm glad I'm one of the ones "in the know" because I don't want us to stay in the MWC. Are you sure that's what you want though? I mean, we might not be able to dominate like we have in years past and the competition might be even more "stiff" than it is now – would you be able to handle that? Actually, I'm sure you'd be fine with a team underperforming since you seem to think there's nothing wrong with the team and/or the program. For the record, a road win in the MWC might be a bit tougher to come by than in other conferences. But really, is a road win at Air Force a tough one? What are the "elevation" schools, anyway? Wyoming, Nevada, Colorado State, Boise State, Air Force? With the exception of Nevada the past two years, we should be able to handle each of these teams both home and away. Good teams find ways to win regardless and good coaching can overcome a lot of things.
