is he a mid season transfer that would want scholarship for the balance of this year, Jan 2017 ? Thought we were at our limit ? Be able to play Jan 2018 ? Or would he be coming Fall of 2017 ? red shirt all of 2017 and play starting fall of 2018 ? With Watson, Seiko and Schankel coming in- I doubt we need another 6'3 player. So far, in the transfer market I like Yankuba Sima, 6-foot-11 center who started eight of 10 games this season for St John's and was averaging 6.0 points and 3.5 rebounds. Last year he averaged 7.3 points and a team-high 5.7 rebounds per game last season. He was second in the Big East with 2.4 blocks per game. He wants to "explore options" that will be a better fit for his goals. Come to San Diego and get out of the cold. Sit one, play two. No evidence that we have reached out or being considered.

Missouri loses another transfer Frosh, Wiillie Jackson 6'6 215 Forward. They are up to 12 transfers/dismissals under Kim Anderson, nnd note there are only 13 scholarship players. That means Anderson has lost an entire team to transfers since 2014, that inlcudes Teki Gill-Caeser.

Any chance with Sterk at Missouri and Anderson likely out, that he would take a look at Hutson?

I haven't taken the time to see if there are any candidates, but it might be worth a look at conferences like the American and MVC, as examples. A 5th year PF/C with big numbers would make sense. That was Josh Davis out of Tulane for us. In my opinion, a proven commodity like that makes a lot of sense over a guy with limited opportunity and minimum impact from a P5 program (Garret Green, James Johnson).
Either that or a big and skilled JUCO PF/C. Someone who can play immediately and have an impact on the boards and on defense.

problem is we can not get a quality 5/4 to come here . Maybe guys that play solid D but not guys that want to be scorers .

Two years at Liberty. Transfer to Kansas and burn the redshirt. Transfer again, burn another year. If he transfer to a D1 program, he must sit for another year, with one to play. He ain't transferring to a D1 program.
