Well Melton was added as a SG and Shaqquan Aaron (Louisville) becomes eligible, plus they have UNLV transfer Katin Reinhardt and they return top scorer Sopn Elijah Stewart. That's a crowded area for the SG. Melton was told that he would play PG, but brought in Kurt Karis from Chicago St to play back PG. Tony Bland MAGIC. Utah, Gonzaga, Cal and ASU all have offers and room in 2016. Tough competition for the Aztecs.

Yep, convincing players to come to your school and fight for PT is being a very good recruiter, and playing to the players competitive nature. Karis is a WO. Melton was aware he was going there. I doubt he flinched. That's what it takes to raise your roster to the next level.

ASU and CAL also have offers; however, each has a SG Commit.
ASU - Sam Cunliffe CAL - Tyson Jolly
USC - has a crowded house at SG; including: De'Anthony Melton (2016), Shaqqaun Aaron (RS Transfer 2016) and leading scorer Elijah Stewart.

Good for him. That's where I thought he'd end up. Per his dad, zags were really not am option. Just the other three. Utah is struggling right now. OSU has a lot more upside and easier on his dad.

Uh what? Utah has a better roster and more of a proven coach, I like what Oregon state has done but they still have to prove they can take that next step from mediocrity to actual success. Utah is in the hunt for a very highly thought of big in Lauri Markkanen that could be a 1 and done and Jayce Johnson another solid big. Lets calm down on the whole they are struggling bit. And Utah definitely is the one with upside, I do see him having a chance to start as a freshman at Oregon State though (wasn't going to happen at Utah).

They may get Jayce, which would be good, but not markkanen. I'll bet anything he ends up at UA or UNC. Utah still has some talent, but they've lost a lot on the recruiting trail of late. 1 FR, and not all that talented IMO. I like OSUs recruiting class and the two they've added this year. Loaded in talent in their 15 and 16 classes and will trend up. I think utah trends down, albeit still good, but also think Larry walks in next year or two. Utah could make up ground with a strong fonish. Just not seeing it. Poerltl leaves, along with the other 4 seniors, and if the don't get Jayce they start to decline.

Lauri Markkanen 4 or 5 star 6'11" recruit originally from Europe . Does have visits scheduled 10/11 at Utah , NC on 11/13-14 then at Arizona 11/ 16-17 ( not sure if that is their Red/Blue event ) . So could be any of the three schools .
Does get very interesting as guys continue to sign . Every signing takes a scholarship and reaction from the other recruits .

You are quite overstating it, Jaquori wouldn't even start at Utah as underckassmen. Larry may eventually leave for a NBA/Blueblood job but in 1 year? Absolutely no shot. He will be there at least a few more years and Utah will continue to have a lot of success as long as he's there. And Brekkot Chapman isn't that talented? Lol he's start for Oregon state.

[/quote] Considering Tinkle not only coached as an assistant under Krystkowiak, but also played behind him at Montana under the same coaches, then surpassed what he built at Montana in terms of accomplishments, I think it's fair to say Tinkle is right on par with Krysko.

SDSU was "Lit" before Parrish. Maybe not so much, according to Mathews, after the (unsubstantiated) claims.
Jonah Ⓜ️athews™ @jonah_mathews4 SDSU is too lit 7:24 PM - 29 Aug 2015
I do wish him the best at USC.

USC is -1 scholarships in 2016. That means they will cut or lose a player between now and next fall to make room for Mathews.
