How about this "fix", conservative friends?
Adjust the employer mandate so that each employer with more than ~12 employees must provide health insurance for every employee regardless of hours worked.

This wouldn't work either. This is why we need a single payer system. If everyone contributed in a fashion similar to SSI and Medicare then no employer could complain that they were at a competitive disadvantage.

Though it's an ideal, doctors won't buy it. Mine recently informed me that his group is probably going to drop all the medicare patients, and for sure won't work and probably retire early if this obamakare isn't repealed. I don't blame him.

Reimbursement rates to physicians are a huge issue. My doc also has major issues with the rates set by Medicare. The big issue is that private insurance reimbursement rates are, kind of, pegged to the reimbursement rates set by Medicare. I asked him how, if his income is going down, that insurance rates are going up. He answered that hospitals are raking it in. I agree with you, aside from the Obamacare slap, that reimbursement rates to the medical practitioner need to go up.

"Must?" Many opt out because their spouse has coverage. That should be permissible and not forced to take so as to add more revenue to the government coffers. Sent from my DROID RAZR using proboards

Sorry, Stu. My client yesterday has an individual policy that costs him $12,000 a year. He told me he can cut his premium in half with ACA. Aren't you covered through a government plan?

He said he was looking forward to it. Well, when he does actually sign up, ask him if his deductibles are cut in half and report back.

He said he was looking forward to it. Well, when he does actually sign up, ask him if his deductibles are cut in half and report back. He did say he would be saving about $6,000 so that is a lot of deductibles.

If you want to learn about the plans, do some research. Well you do show some sense in not questioning your imaginary client. No one wants to risk a relationship with an imaginary friend over an internet snot throwing contest.
