You Cons want to bring up 'repeal and replace' again? That used to be a campaign slogan, but even the GOP lawmakers spewing it realized they actually didn't have a plan... How about you forget the pipe dream of 'repeal', and draft legislation that replaces the parts you find troublesome? How about, on the floor of the House, Boehner brings to vote a bill that simultaneously defunds the ACA and implements single payer? You want Obamacare dead because you think it will be that bad? I just told the world how to get rid of it... Not that hard at all.

So you don't want admit that it was a quote from before ACA passed? You don want to admit that they called Buffett's office and were told that those were not his current view of ACA? Facts are pesky things for shallow, simple people like you. Your opinion is always so much better than pesky facts. LOL

It's coming, very soon, whether those of you on the right like it or not.
I honestly think if the GOP actually thought it was going to be as bad as they publicly say, that they should allow full implementation. When, as McConnell said, it is "the worst piece of legislation in over 50 years", that would allow the GOP to get the Senate and WH by 2016 and fully repeal it, while gaining political favor for undoing such a bad program.
What say you? Or do we all agree most are full of shi%?

Apparently the public does not want this law. Some of the reasons are pointed out in the article appearing in yesterday's notorious right wing rag NYT.
You do have a point about letting the disaster happen, and then going, "nyah nyah nyah, nyah nyah".
I guess they are hearing from their constituents.
But either way, the Gods of the Copybook Headings will have the last word. They always do.
"As it will be in the future, it was at the birth of Man — There are only four things certain since Social Progress began: — That the Dog returns to his Vomit and the Sow returns to her Mire, And the burnt Fool's bandaged finger goes wabbling back to the Fire;
And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world begins When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins, As surely as Water will wet us, as surely as Fire will burn, The Gods of the Copybook Headings with terror and slaughter return!"

Republicans... bring a Single Payer bill to the floor. You would win an election or two, be heroes, and kill Obamacare all at once.

A carefully crafted single payer bill would do just that, but my guess is one that I would like would be opposed by you. So what is a better use of time? 43 useless votes to repeal the law? Or working with moderate Dems and Pubs to accomplish a single payer system that works for both sides? I'm sure the divide in a single payer system can't be bigger than over the ACA, how could it? I think our sticking point would be over illegals and unemployeds?

This bill should have been decided by the public vote. I still go back to my original premise that big government is not in the business to be in big business. This thing is a train wreck. America always has to learn the hard way.

America always has to learn the hard way. Obamacare became law in 2010. We had a presidential election in 2012. Romney swore that if he would repeal Obamacare if he was elected. A strong majority voted for Obama. Therefore, the public has decided.

The whole thing is dishonest and a product of his ego....period. "Always the hard way!"
