Did you just say that SDSU has put 21 guys in the NBA? We have.. but most of them were before the common era of basketball and boasting about them is about as silly as boasting about football winning the small school national championship. We have put 2 legit players in the NBA. Michael Cage and Jamaal Franklin. Joel Kramer is a distant 3rd. Did you mean Cage and Kawhi Leonard?

The WCC is Gonzaga. I can't think of another conference that one school so totally dominates. Memphis and Conference USA. Good point. However, that is now in the past.

Gotta disagree, FM. Bradley, Indiana State and Northern Iowa have all gone to the NCAAs multiple times in the last decade. I doubt any WCC school except Gonzaga and St. Mary's can say that.

Looks like Ohio St. is now in the mix
Jeff Goodmanþ@GoodmanCBS19m Tulane transfer Josh Davis expected to take official visits starting next week to San Diego State, Gonzaga & Ohio State, per source.
Kinda don't feel as optimistic now...but, I'm sure he is coming to San Diego first, so hopefully that matters.

When we first started talking about this kid we didn't even know if we had a shot. If you would have told me then that we would be in his final 3 I would have taken it in a heart beat.
You guys were fooling yourselves if you thought it would be a Chol like situation where he just zeroes in on us and then chooses us.
We are in the best position that was realistically possible. Let's hope he likes it here.

This is still the best choice IF he wants to be the # 1 scoring option.

The Ohio State 's signed top recruit for 2013 is a 6'8" PF , 4*,believe his last name is Loving . All depends on what Davis wants for his senior year. OSU , will have the best team of the three of the three mentioned, but has the most competition at his position, plays in the best conference, best TV deal. Aztecs and Gonzaga both need an experienced PF, down low. Zags are most likely to win their conference but do not play in a major arena (other then at BYU), and their conference will not have many rated teams. Aztecs play more quality teams especially OOC this year and UNLV, UNM. Grad School at SDSU and OSU are known nationally if that is important to Mr Davis. K.Leonard is proven example of getting to the NBA . Who knows what issues are most important to Josh , doubt weather is important , but can't hurt having our campus and sunshine. Coaches, team mates, where he feels comfortable or the right fit . Could be a Jump ball hope we get the opening tip and run with it. We really need him.
