This is the first reference of SDSU I've seen since Davis became available.
Good news.
Edit: Other schools associated with Davis' recruitment right now are also, NC State, Iowa State, Temple, Pitt and Arizona

He would be great addition at PF or David Pellom , or if we need a guard DeAndre Kane , but definite need is the PF

Plenty of minutes at the 4 & 5 for Davis here if he picks SDSU!!! :-)

One thing in the Aztecs favor: none of the other quality teams he is considering will get him the playing time that SDSU can provide -
Here he is virtually guaranteed a starting position, and he can be a huge difference-maker.

Over JJ or spencer? I doubt either honestly, although I think he we absolutely get his minutes. This would be good, real good.

Josh Davis is going to start where ever he goes. That is a given.

We need this guy, he would be a catalyst for our team this next season. With a lack of shooters, he would help us tremendously. Would be interesting to see who he'll be battling with for minutes, obviously Sky, but may make a dent in Winstons should JJ play more minutes at the small forward. That's one thing about our team, outside of Sky, everyone is capable of playing more than on position, it's nice, but it makes it hard to speculate who's playing what kind of minutes and where. All I know is we really want/need/have to have this guy.

An actual post scorer would be so unfamiliar I'd probably pass out from the shock of it.

This guy would be "The Man" up front on this Aztec team and would also have a great chance to be the conference POY.
Aztecs would be an instant prime contender for the title and he would get excellent exposure and experience if wants to be seen by the NBA scouts.

An added bonus, if this guy is a legit back to the basket big man, then Skylar is only going to get better being around him. That's my one worry with his offensive development, that we don't have a bona fide "big man" coach, but maybe that's the way the staff wants it. IDK. Wishful thinking at this point, but he'd be a huge addition to our squad, for next year and the future.

Let's not go overboard. For those who might also have been wondering, Davis originally signed with his local school, NC State, after not having drawn very much interest: espn.go.com/college-sports/basketball/recruiting/player/_/id/88792/josh-davisAfter seeing the writing on the wall, he transferred to Tulane where he flourished last year. But let's be clear about that, too. CUSA was a BAD basketball conference. Bottom line is we could really use the guy but POY in the MWC? That's a real stretch.

POY Who knows but he would help the Aztecs next year a ton so that maybe another Aztec can be POY. Either way I hope SDSU gets him.

LOL.
Of course AztecMesa posters think he would be POY if played at SDSU.
Anyway, I hope Moser decides on the Zags this weekend when he visits.
