How would anybody on the zags board have any idea how many units a kid in Louisiana had to graduate? I'm sure he's graduating just fine. good question by you - how would they know?....of course, that begs the second question - how would you know? there's an Inception joke in here somewhere.

Gosh you got me on that one. Yeah but how many articles have been written about Davis and how many have said he has a heavy summer ahead of him if he's going to be eligible to play elsewhere this fall? None that I'm aware of. I was being sarcastic in my post. Obviously none of us REALLY know anything about anyone in sports. One can only go by common sense until reasonable evidence proves us otherwise. and my point is that a random poster on the gonzaga board does not come close to qualifying as "reasonable evidence"

The article in their paper does add the idea that Davis could stay at Tulane or go to Europe if he decides not to attend grad school. So there are a variety of options for Davis. Would guess he sits back and waits for Moser to make a decision and then evaluates his options. Wonder if Davis has been to either the Zags or Aztecs campus.

Interesting perspective from one of their commentors "Davis had no trouble finding playing time. In his scenario, he might benefit from finding a higher profile program to vault him to professional waters."
"The devil's advocate is questioning whether San Diego State is a better move than staying put. I think Gonzaga is much higher profile."
Ummm, yeah, SDSU is a better move than staying at Tulane. SDSU is on the verge of having a first round draft pick in 2 of the last 3 season - something Tulane can't say.

Interesting that this article came out on 5/6 but is referencing articles from 4/19 and 4/24 and basically adds no new information. News travels a bit slower to NOLA?

I still don't think Moser to Oregon makes a difference. Davis should be able to see that he'll be our #1 scoring option next year if he comes here and there's no question about that. Also, playing in the MW will help his value more in my opinion than playing in the WCC and then next year he'll also have an extremely tough schedule at SDSU to give him more exposure and the chance to increase his stock.
But this is his last year in college so he may just want to play in front of his family or a school he's always liked.

SDSU's non-conference games should be a huge selling-point!!!
Crossing fingers here, I think we really need Davis.

Let's hope he doesn't want to be someone's second choice.

Nice, 90 degrees on the mesa Monday, 80 at the beaches. Perfect spring weather for a visit.
Or he can head to 60 and rainy in Spokane

Chol has a nice shooting touch but needs to improve his speed and agility. I recommend a year-long CrossFit program. Davis is ready and makes us a better team than Gonzaga will be.

If he doesn't have a visit planned, that could be a pretty good sign in that it would make sense to go to Seattle from here (or before coming to SD). Can't imagine him going back to Tulane (or Carolina) then flying back to Seattle.
