"My name is Raymond J. Johnson, Jr. Now you can call me Ray, or you can call me J, or you can call me Johnny, or you can call me Sonny, or you can call me Junie, or you can call me Junior; now you can call me Ray J, or you can call me RJ, or you can call me RJJ, or you can call me RJJ Jr.", but you doesn't hasta call me Johnson!

2. Did any of you guys hear his interview? Johnson has the most African-American voice that I have ever heard from a white guy. If you were only listening to the radio broadcast, you would swear you were listening to a black guy. Really? That's funny. Dude is from Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, which is in the middle of freaking nowhere. It's about 200 miles south of Calgary, 100 miles north of Montana and about 60 miles west of Medicine Hat. I've been there and wondered, "Who the h*ll would live in this small, cold, windswept, Canadian-prairie outpost?" Lethbridge is as non-urban as you can get. He must have a poster of Snow is his dorm room. Informer...something something something and something else I don't know...a licky boom boom down.

if anyone is a mr. show fan, he reminds me of when David Cross would hold his throat to create that exact black person voice...It's Perfectly Understandishable.

I like his deep voice, it sounds strong. I think most people associate a deep, booming voice with a Big Johnson.

Big Johnson and Vencie Glenn are actually twins separated at birth. No joke...

I hope the Show or somebody creates a Big Johnson T-shirt akin to those back in the 90s.

I have 2 comments about Johnson: 1. Remember he has hardly played any college ball, so don't expect a big impact in Honolulu. 2. Did any of you guys hear his interview? Johnson has the most African-American voice that I have ever heard from a white guy. If you were only listening to the radio broadcast, you would swear you were listening to a black guy. On number 2, what does it matter as long as he plays well? It doesn't sound like his natural accent, but it is not uncommon for people to pick up new dialects when they are exposed to them. That or he is subconsciously trying to fit into a culture dominated by African-American influence. James is very young and still has plenty of time to figure out who he is and get comfortable in his own shoes.
