You said the pass blocking hasn't been all that good. The pass blocking has been fine. Steve, Bob is correct. The pass blocking has not been good. He has been under pressure all year. One of the reasons for lack of sacks is Ryan getting rid of the ball quickly instead of taking the sack. At UCLA people we complaining about Lindley throwing the ball at receivers feet. That is because it was it was either throw it away or take the sack. Ryan is a good QB and knows an incomplete is much better than a sack. That being said, the pass blocking has been adequate. Not good, but not awful. But to look at sacks only is not an accurate way to judge the OL. IMHO. |

Ha....But =Bob is just so easy to pick on.  Steve, how would you feel if someone lied by claiming you took an action that you didn't take while claiming you didn't remember doing it because you were drunk? Hell, you're pissed off at Zip for moving your comments without telling you and that's nothing compared to what Pooh claimed I did. I get pissed off easily, but I usually don't hang on to it for very long. What Pooh did I'm hanging on to because it was juvenile beyond belief and it was very much beyond the pale because it was in line with the insults that Joe has offered about me. Trolling is an art and picking on someone is part of it. But the trolls have to have some basis in reality and lying for the purpose of defaming someone is not a troll, it's an attack. I'm sure Pooh figured if he did that, Zip might toss me as moderator, but to this point, he has been very supportive of everything I've done. So Pooh has lost twice - he's exposed himself to be someone who is willing to lie if he can gain an advantage from it and he failed to get Zip to remove me as moderator of the OT forum. And actually, he's lost 3 times because he's also lost pretty much all respect I held for him. =Bob How many times must you be told that you just don't remember what you did during those first few days? Why would someone like me hold on to that position since I really have nothing to gain. I have never communicated directly with Zip. Any thing that I have said has been out in the open. Why do you keep this charade up? You just screwed up late one evening. Let a sleeping dog lay! |

Totally pathetic answer based upon nothing more than your obsession with defending Long. I was willing to give him another season if he got rid of Elliot and Miller. At this point, I seriously doubt he would have canned either one of them. =Bob Well =Bob. Not sure what you wanted or expected me to say. Chuck Long did beat that same team 47-17 last year. I will admit that I was too passive in addressing your lies in the past because I figured you were worthy of respect. It has become clear to me that you aren't worth $#!+ when it comes to character. Now it has just become a irrational insistence on your part that you did not do something that you admitted to doing to other posts. That would be deleting and moving posts. I can think of no other reason than your reluctance to admit you might still be drinking or that you are in some other way addled. I can think of no other reason to be so adamant about something that could be settled by just saying that there are parts of some days that are hazy or that you just might have forgotten. It has now become pretty important that I just say again that I have no reason to tell anything but the truth as I know it and state again that a lie for any reason is not part of my makeup. You are now coming off as some sort of disjointed loony like we have all characterized AztecJoe as being. You little hidden asides that have nothing to do with the subject at hand will result in my explaining myself as best I can. You may have guessed by now that I care very little what you think, but that I do care what others think and so it will go on till you either admit that you might have made a mistake or are just covering with bluster your actions while in a vulnerable condition or let it fade away. I do know they gave up their first sack in game 3. That ain't bad. |
