Per Hacksaw this afternoon, lineman Unga didn't qualify academically!

I wonder if he really didn't qualify, or it's another Hillman fiasco. Hang in there, Matt

This is not news to many of us. Should we clue Hacksaw in about the other kid?

I thought the consensus was that Unga wasn't going to play this year.

I thought the consensus was that Unga wasn't going to play this year. Not according to this guy. ;D Perez is already here. he has been working out with the team for the past few weeks, as well as ALL the other JC kids..yes ALL of them and thats a 100% fact, so just stop questioning it. And most of the freshman have already joined the team as well.

But then on another thread aztecalum didn't list him on his two-deep "for a reason," and just a few days ago aa intimated he didn't qualify.

Some make it, some don't. Good so we have 2 more scholarships for this year. It's the players loss not ours.

Some make it, some don't. Yea, we all expect a couple not to make it in, if it is only 2 then that is not bad and as was said,we'll have a couple of schollys to offer for early period recruiting

Or carrots on a stick for a hard working walk-on.

What a wasted opportunity for these two young men.

Hard to get 100% success in the recruiting game. Hope they still have some gumption and try to get academics right even if not for football reasons.

We've evidently lost three recruits, one to injury. There'll be losses but there usually a walkon or two who surprise. Can't wait for August 10!
