I dunno, I expect more of the same against TCU. All they have to do is rattle Lindley, throw him off his game.

The guy has NO ONE to throw to. Lousy, slow route running. We better get some receivers (jc transfer) ready over the next two weeks.

WOW!! He is not at his best but you all sound like he came to your house and shot your dog. He is our best QB and this jumping on him is a little crazy. +1... seriously! F-Off haters! He had a bad game. Move on. This is our starting quarterback ... He's not going anywhere so support... him don't take a $#!+ on his car... Give me a break? It was a joke, as I stated below the post. So relax. Nobody is dumping on his hood. Haha.

Seriously... this is absurd... a QB getting NFL hype can't throw a decent ball most of the game? I really thought he was one of our leaders this year... That 4th down play was pathetic... Why oh why doesn't rocky grab his face mask on the sideline and get his head straight is beyond me Agree. One of Lindley's main problem is between his ears. He can get intimidated easily. He had that deer in the head lights look last week in the first half against WSU, and the MTN announcers were commenting how can Lindley being a senior quarterback with years of experience look scared? Unfortunately, I think they same thing happened today but more so. He played against one of the BCS big boys in the big house and got intimidated.

I think our OL played decent until we got down and had to throw more. The holes weren't huge but Hillman was making plays. Lindley couldn't hit a receiver, Hillman fumbled and we had penalties at bad times and our drives just died. Michigan played well and caused some problems but we caused more problems for ourselves.

We're going to have a big year and Lindley is going to be fine. He represents SDSU a hell of a lot better than some of you. He did have a bad game and does need to find some better touch on his short passes, but he IS a good quarterback. When it comes to looking in the mirror, some of you should try it yourself. I wanted to win this one badly, but I'm going to support my team (and their quarterback) until the last play of our bowl win. We've come a long way and have a ways to go still. enjoy the journey and support your team. Otherwise, we really don't want or need you anyway. Go Aztecs!

Pretty rough commentary for a QB that has never stopped believing in this program, lead us to our first bowl Victory since before I was born and will be our all time leader in passing yards and touchdowns.
f x x x all of you that are hating on him because he had a rough game.

I wonder how much of his bad passes were because the offensive line was not protecting him? More often than not, his offensive line got overran in pass protection but just as often, Lindley made poor decisions and poor throws when he did have sufficient time. Just a bad day, it happens.

Lindley's been a good qb, better than having a situation like at UCLA, but his size and rocket arm can't seem to compensate for lack of touch when it matters. Of course when it matter, the other team has the big edge on the lines so maybe not all him, but 1st round draft choice doesn't fit his profile if he's suppose to make the players around him better.

If you can't stand the tough criticisms, frustration from fans, and are too thin-skinned to take it like a man.
Then don't read the f__kin thread.
What? Did Mommy give you a time out or did Daddy belt you? How were you raised?
Give me a break. Football is played by tough guys. Don't give us this, "Stop hating on him, leave him alone!"
I'm sure the players don't need the Cheerleaders to defend them.

I don't mind criticism of Ryan. He deserves that. It is the throw him under the bus, he is worst QB ever, we lost because of him stuff that drives me nuts.

Calling him a JC quarterback and the other piling on is a joke (from supposed fans?). He will put it together and leave here as easily our top quarterback in career yardage. The guy deserves some respect, bad game or not. He's given a lot more to the program than most of us ever will, so yes, I say again, shut the hell up and stop being such a whiny baby. Take your little vatto avatar with you.

I'm not hating. he had a terrible game. He has been brilliant for us the last three years. It's doubtful we would have had the season we did last year without him. However, he has not looked sharp at all this season. And today was the worst I've seen him in 4 years. There was no accuracy at all. He needs to get right before TCU. I Believe he will.

Ok, now that I've had an hour to get over how badly Lindley played in this game, and in every big game for that matter, I still think he is a horrible big game QB. Yes, Lindley has been great for our program, he has thrown for tons of yardage, and many touchdown passes.
Lindley completed 23 our of 48 passes today.

So here is the million dollar question, who replaces Lindley next year and can that player deliver like or better than Lindley?

Take your little vatto avatar with you. He won't put anything together, he will continue to be the guy he's always been. At times he will dazzle us with the long pass, and befuddle us for long stretches with his maddening inaccuracy. He's inconsistent and always has been, that's not gonna change his Senior year if it hasn't already.
