It's incredible how many high-profile transfers Indiana has landed. They just landed Ballo. I get the money part, but their program has underachieved for years. They stink every year. Someone or some group out there must be writing checks so enormous they could make heads spin!!! This is insane. I bet Indiana still sucks this year.

Indiana absolutely has $$$ boosters... who are likely VERY frustrated, and have -- in concert -- opened up their wallets this year looking for a change in the program. If they fail to make the NCAA tourney, or flame out early, look for major heads to roll -- AD on down.

What the Aztecs have achieved is remarkable, even if this landscape is still pretty new. Low to mid-major standouts transfer to big-time, established programs. The Aztecs have had to scour the transfer market for more under the radar types that are schematic fits, relying on doing things the old-fashioned way: Brilliant coaching, culture and brotherhood.

Quite shocked by Mahaney. Dude is gonna get PAID, he’s that 7 figure type of transfer IMO (or close to it).

Quite shocked by Mahaney. Dude is gonna get PAID, he’s that 7 figure type of transfer IMO (or close to it). He is a 6'3" PG who earned a spot on the first-team All-WCC this season, demonstrating his prowess as a sophomore with averages of 13.9 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game. Coach Luster may have a relationship with him. Mahaney brings a wealth of experience to the court, having shown off his skills for the Gaels over the last two seasons. With 60 starts and 69 appearances under his belt, he's proven himself on the hardwood at a notably competitive level, we would benefit from him on the floor. I hope he is driven by winning, chemistry, sunshine, beaches, and basketball. Location, location, location, cuz we don't have six figures to bring him home.

I'm a contributor to Mesa but my $50 a month isn't gonna land a whale. With the alumni base of SDSU we should have somebody with FU money that likes hoops. How about Kawhi break us off like 5 million.

6'3" 170 lb, SG, Nick Boyd FAU transfer says he is hearing from SDSU, Texas, Missouri, Georgia, Clemson, Miami, Butler, Texas A/M, Boise State, DePaul & L'sville. With Dusty May departing for Michigan, FAU players are venturing into the transfer portal. Johnell Davis has declared his intention to join, while Nick Boyd and Giancarlo Rosado have also disclosed their entry into the portal. Meanwhile, Vladislav Goldin is pursuing greater opportunities in the NBA. Aztecs looking at Boyd who is shooting 40%/34%/84% and 9.3 PPG, 2.7 RPG & 1.8 APG in 27 games this year. Was hurt and missed 7 or 8 games with a "leg injury" this season. Boyd is coming to The Mesa on Monday, and spent today at Louisville. The big debate on Twitter today was how many Aztecs did Boyd add to social media, it looks like 4, Butler, Saunders, Byrd, and Magoooon

Louisville has offers out to like 4 guards. I like Boyd, I think it could work. But I don't like him as much as Aiden.

Agreed, I'm hopeful that the Mesa Foundation has some deep-pocketed donors to satisfy our basketball cravings. Bring in the whales! Imagine a transfer class of Mahaney PG, Boyd CG, and Agee PF on top of the current roster (less one). We would be back in the Sweet 16, three years running. Welcome to Viejas.

Either one would be good. I actually think Boyd is a better fit.

Someone said he was at the JAM center with Byrd. Come on Miles, bring him home. Miles commented on his Instagram post announcing he was entering the portal with “walk yo journey.” I’m sure he’ll give him a quick pitch or two on coming to SD, but really he just sounds like a supportive friend. I bet this is TOUGH for St. Mary’s fans given he’s a local kid, but kinda hard to blame him when the current environment allows people to throw crazy money at him.
