"2500 Free Tickets" those are not 'free' our SDSU Students have the highest Athletic Fee in the league. They have already paid for them each semester when they register.

One of the problems behind the empty seats in student section is how tixs are distributed. Tixs are distributed for 2 or 3 games at a time so some students get tix for one game, but might not be able to attend one or both othe others and like many season tix holders fail to give their unused tix to others. I think Athletic Dept should go back to distributing tixs one game at s time and either do it the day before the game or the morning of. This would help ensure that students who get tixs plan to go. Regarding the Show, seems dressing up as a gorilla or banana or other interesting outfits has disappeared.

How much is the fee and does it strictly go for football and basketball tickets , or other items including the workout center for the students and .... ?
Take a guess what students at other schools pay for their tickets .?

Citing that the student's section was 2/3 full is not criticism. It was the same way last Saturday. I wonder if it has to do with needing a Red ID to accompany a ticket to get in. I suppose a question might be, how many in previous seasons were actually students? I consider the Show, as those down in front who are always there. a partial answer to how many originals were actually students. Of the very first show members: the leader was not a student, just a strong fan of Fisher and sdsu sports. His brother and best friend were graduates of state. They were all in their mid twenties-not kids. They were interviewed on several local sport programs. Even uncle teddy would comment on the jeers directed toward the other team without vulgarisms. Many of the first tier of show members were older students or grads. It took several years for the student body to catch on, which they did in spades. From sitting in the blue hair section you could see a steady growth in the number of students attending games. From 50-100 to a full boisterous excited base. I heard a university rep say to one of the originals, "look what you guys started," when the student section was full and rocking. I also disagree with your comment that the show is only the first 12 rows. According to the written tenents of the original show, EVERYBODY in the student section, old, new, student or not, is a member of the show, not just a few rows. All you have to do is stand and jump and yell. OK first, when I pondered how many of the previous show members, I guess I wasn't clear enough. I meant that some sitting there may have purchased their tickets from students, and now are unable to do so. I knew all the show folks weren't students. Second, I don't really care about the show's constitution. If they are all supposed to be show members, great. However, the folks down front have always been the leaders, and as I wrote above somewhere, I consider those down front the show. BTW, I wrote "I consider the Show, as those down in front who are always there." Nothing there says 12 rows. Have a Happy day
