is there still the "soft " opening scheduled for Monday 8/17 / 15 ? A "soft" opening for the major JAM donors & the teams themselves is looking more like the following week (24th or 25th I believe). The other, broader event is still TBD.

If the coaches are interested in MG-C( transfer from Mizzu) and he is on campus would guess they would have shown him the JAM C. Will be interested to see photos .

Isn't there a slider that can separate the men and women courts? Or is it one of those this side is ours and that side is yours?

I was looking at the floor and only saw a black solid line separating the 2 courts. Couldn't see the curtain.

I had assumed that the team had seen it by now. Loved the look of amazement and appreciation on so many of the kids, especially in the locker rooms. Skyler looked like a little kid. Great stuff! Proud to be an Aztec!

Truly a state of the art facility. The locker rooms and all that looks great, but just judging from the courts, most practice facilities that I've seen are 1 full size real court and they have 2 sideways courts going through the main one (this is how Kentucky's is for example). This one has 2 full size real courts and still has the hoops on the walls as well (not to mention the awesome wall decals with the student section, etc). This will be HUGE in recruiting. I really wouldn't be surprised if we start to keep the Chase Budingers, Jameel Hornes, Brandon McCoys, Luke Waltons, TJ Leafs, etc. We will absolutely be a contender for the top recruits out of the San Diego area, and potentially all of California with this new facility. That had to have been holding our recruiting way back not having anywhere for the players to practice whenever they wanted.

Incredible facility , do hope some of the photos .... start getting out to the major media to assist in this year's 2016 recruiting . Narain's parents were in town to view it this weekend . Not sure if transfer /recruit M.G- Caesar saw it during his visit this weekend . Understand recruit J. Mathews is due in this week .D. Melton next week . Others to follow ? Would also be grand if it helps womens team get back to the top of MW and into their MM . For those who follow womens team ,did not see R Senior E. Amarikwa on the roster?
Best way to present results of having the JAM Center going forward will be to show the development of the players and for Aztecs to have a strong run in MM .
thank you to all who contributed from the JAM group to any donation it all adds up

And to clarify, it's not one of those cheesy, old school movie theatre curtains. : ) It drops down from the roof; pretty rigid.
