I'm sure Dutcher will do the right thing. There seem to be a lot of fish in the sea.

Maybe the Aztecs can get a twofer on decommits with Keith and Brodricks! Give 'em both a chance to decommit again. I say pass, if he can’t earn playing time with a middle of the road Pac 12 team, I’m not confident he can help us either.

I say pass, if he can’t earn playing time with a middle of the road Pac 12 team, I’m not confident he can help us either. Keith Smith RivalsKeith Smith ESPNRivals said he was a Top 100 member of the class of 2016 and ESPN had him as the #34 Wing or somewhere in the Top 150... Having said that, you would think that he would be someone that SDSU would want, but I think we have learned from MGC, Johnson, Montana and others that what used to be really important to SDSU, transfers, may not be as they are competing with very highly talented guys that came here out of high school. The days of Tony Bland coming in and just being way better than what was on the roster are over... We have found a few folks, Josh Davis for example and X that have made a real difference, but we have had more misses than hits over the last five to seven years on transfers. The question I would ask is if we were ranking the 2016 class again would Keith Smith be a Top 150 recruit, I would say no so I say pass...

Dutcher can always listen to what he has to say and compare it to others being considered - depends on actual guys that really want to come here .
HS ratings are interesting as are results from actual college games
Also need to look at most current transfers Devin, Max, Kameron , Teki and results of those transfers.

I believe he played very solid defense for Oregon. We could use a player that plays very solid defense.

Smith is a solid player. Held back because he played behind extremely good talent.
Only issue is he has no range.

SDSU is looking out for it's best interests and Smith is looking out for his. I support SDSU as a whole, not just one player looking for more playing time.
For one, he may not fit into their culture or he's not much of a team guy?
Oldie Out

Not a shock he's going from 1 Pac coach to another in Lorenzo Romar. Bye Keith!

Pepperdine? I'd say Smith found the right school.

Good get for them. Terrific coaching staff, and people he's known for a long time.
