Also went back and looked at another high light reel he had from HS . He was the #30 Rivals rated recruit . He was a fantastic 3 point scorer in addition to a guy that create his own shot from the 3 or 2 position . Believe he was originally from SoCal , so his HS coaches should have some information about him on and off the court and the information our coaches had when We recruited him. . He would be a fantastic replacement for Malik , that can play SF or SG . Sure hope he still is considering the Aztecs and the coaches can make it work . He is getting the strong push from the Ducks , Huskies and Zags .

He looks really good. I wonder if he is good at distribution as well as shooting.

He could be a very good player , but as we see he is also being recruited by some very good team /recruiters: Bland at USC , plus the DUCKS , & Huskies , that see his value, so it seems doubtful we can land him , especially now that we have Max and not sure about scholarships . He could easily be a starter and difference maker in 2016 .

Mark Zeigler @sdutzeigler · 4m4 minutes ago Louisville transfer Shaqquan Aaron apparently down to USC and SDSU. No word on when he'll make an announcement.

would hate to finish second to Bland and USC , but Bland and the glitz of USC is hard to beat . Did Aaron go visit USC this week also .

Seems like he is all over the place or all the sources have been off. One source said down to Washington and Oregon. Another said USC was out of the running. Now Zeigler says SDSU or USC.

He is looking for PT, USC has 2 schollys left while we have 1 for this season. USC doesn't have much talent at SG and SF right now, Boatwright and Metu both PF/ C are their only 2 recruits but are tip 75 picks.
His Twitter handle is Q_nasty21 and there's nothing new about his weekend in SD or any thoughts on USC.

The teams we are competing with, for the recruits we are recruiting, sure have changed over a not so long period of time.

We really need him at SF to replace Malik , trust the coaches showed him , that is where he would fit right in . K. Leonard ,then Malik , then Aaron great transitions . As they tour the JAM center . But Bland is a great recruiter . The Ducks and the Huskies have added a lot of quality guys for 2015 that will be around for 2016 so that may drop them from the leader board . Would also hope that he sees in LA they will have Lakers, Clippers , UCLA and then USC for fan support . PAC is loaded and very tough for USC to get to MM .
Usually Zeigler gets his info from the coaches and the players but as we have seen the athletes change their mind often .

I know there are some who have question about him, but to get a player with his talent (based on his HS recruiting profile), that will be 2 years older (when he plays), has played D1 (at a great program), will get a year of practice time within the SDSU program and still has 3 years left is ALL GOOD.

Anyone heard or seen his schedule - does he have any other trips booked? He's been to USC (month ago) - is he going back? Visiting Oregon (BTW - they just signed the JC PoY but still have an open schollie)? UW again?
If Zieg's is saying USC & SDSU I'd tend to believe him, more so than a report from a few weeks ago saying the opposite. But also do not discount the possibility of this changing 2-3 times before he commits, with several conflicting reports. It wasn't that long ago Elridge Recasner reported he was signed, sealed & delivered to WSU.
Should be an interesting week.

Shaqquan is "Skip-to-my-Lou smooth"...would be fun like Jamaal to watch.
If his options are USC behind Jordan McLaughlin and a long list of PGs/SGs coming to town vs SDSU with Jeremy Helmsley and lower ranked PGs/SGs then I would think SDSU is a better home. It all comes down to his confidence about his own defensive intensity which appears good in clips.
While USC sounds more appealing in terms of booster gimmes and quality of education, they lack any history of developing NBA talent under the current coaching regime.

Also, at SDSU, basketball players are BMOC, while Trojan basketball players are FMOC (Forgotten Men On Campus).
