Shaqquan Aaron from Rainer Beach HS in Seattle is leaving Louisville. Allen is a 6'7 175 Wing (SG/SF) and was ranked as a 5-star from Scout, and 4-star from ESPN and Rivals, maybe good for the Aztecs, he would sit 15/16 and be eligible after Shep and Pope leave. Pope is ranked as a first rounder in 2016. Aaron was also recruited by UCLA, USC, UNLV, Cal, Zona, OSU, Uconn, Cuse' among others. There was no love loss between Aaron and Pitino, even-though the kid was a top 30 rated player at graduation. Pitino wanted him to hit the weights and build his body up. He was in the dog house last year and didn't play much. He may also may have not put in the work. www.gocards.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/040815aaa.htmlwww.verbalcommits.com/players/shaqquan-aaronespn.go.com/college-sports/basketball/recruiting/player/_/id/117428/shaqquan-aaronsports.yahoo.com/ncaa/basketball/recruiting/player-Shaqquan-Aaron-115958

We should stop going after people that turned us down the first time. If he wasn't any good for Louisville, I doubt he'll be any good for us.

X, JJ and DP turned us down and played well for the remaining 3 years for the Aztecs.

At this point - with all the gradute transfers available (and Narian possibly becoming a 2015 recruit) I would be surprised if SDSU uses their last scholorship on a D1 transfer that can't play next season. That being said, I think it would be the best option as I think we have enough for next season but will be losing a lot and could use more D1 experiences players for the following season.

I am beginning to re-think this thread if players like Nigel Goss-Williams are transferring out.

As we have seen with the hot flavor/transfer of the week Goss , D.Johnson , Payne, Aaron ............. for transfers that would need to take up a scholarship and sit this up coming year. Aztecs may choose to pass. Would guess the Aztec staff ,if all 12 current guys come back , will offer scholarship # 13 for Narain 6'10 " C/PF - HS recruit, that really moved up on the Rivals board recently , if he decides to reclassify to 2015 recruit rather then 2016 , if not M.Tollefsen ,6'9" grad transfer from San Francisco . If one of the current 12 guys decides to leave the staff could try to get both or plan B or C. Depending on the biggest need for the team .

I know about the history, I also know we were doing that because we weren't a good program and had to take whatever we got. We're a much better program since then, and can afford to be a little more picky.
