Speaking of sharing our thoughts with the atheltic department, I just recieved this... Thank you for your continued support of San Diego State Athletics. Saturday night, the Aztec Football team had a big win over Hawaii to take over 1st place in the west division of the Mountain West. While Coach Long and the team get a bye week this week, we look forward to the rest of the season as we aim to win the 20th conference championship in our football history. Just as the San Diego State football team has made huge strides over the past four years, we have continued to work at improving our game day experience at Qualcomm Stadium. You can help us continue to grow Aztec football. Below is a link to a short survey on your game day experience. Please take a few minutes to complete this survey so we can continue making Aztec Football the place to be in San Diego on game day. www.surveymonkey.com/s/LWSD3KR What makes you think the SDSU admin is connected to this? Look at the bottom of the questionnaire. It's probably just a sample. Plus I would question the authenticity of something called "Survey Monkey." Since I am skeptical, I would not fill out question #9. LOL, if you have never heard of survey monkey there is probably a good reason they didn't send you the survey...

It used to have a buzz. I remember the games vs USC (what an incredible day that was), BYU and others during the Marshall Faulk era where the Q was absolutely rocking for Aztecs games. It could happen again but two major changes would need to take place. 1. We need a better coach who is able to get better recruits. 2. We need a much better quality home schedule, this year's home schedule is simply unacceptable. Build the thing and they will come. Problem is it is hard to build it with zero fan interest. Those games were packed. From what I saw, the USC game had sort of a day at the beach atmosphere in the stands. College students and casual fans enjoying the sun and football (instead of the ocean). The Washington State game in 2011 that broke the regular season attendance record wasn't bad neither.
