Wins at Fresno and New Mexico... could put 35k+ in the seats for Hawaii!

That was pretty healthy crowd. I think the blankets had a lot to do with it, but still...
And props to the student section. They showed up in pretty good numbers. Unfortunately, they are so far removed from the game and I think the colossal amount of empty seats in the craphole Q takes the starch out of their enthusiasm, as evidenced by their sitting on their butts throughout the game. I again float the idea of putting temp bleachers down on the field in that end zone to get them more involved...

The crowd seemed pretty decent to me. Must have been over 25,000 in the stands, maybe close to the announced 28,005. And, yes, if we win the next two, I would hope to see 30K or more.
Next Friday will be a very big game for SDSU. I know that Fresno State has been having its problems, but beating them in Fresno will not be a snap. Oh, yes, how about all those yards passing gained by UNLV? Close to 400, I think. That does not bode well for when we meet teams with a superior passing attack and a decent running game.
Still a chance for a superior season (by which I mean 10 wins) if we beat Fresno and Nevada. Do that, and even if we lose once (BSU?) but win the rest and a bowl game, and we will have 10 wins for the first time since 1977. That would mean a step up, or at least a half step up, for the program. (I may be wrong, but when you win 10 in any year, people start paying attention. Maybe not a lot of attention, but some. It would be a start.)
