I was afraid of attendance slipping since we didn't win one of the two P5 games. I would say the turnstile attendance will be about 20K and that's only because they'd rather watch it at the Q instead of on the internet. |

Well, I'm hoping like heck that I'm wrong. However, there were 30,700 tickets distributed for the opener, about 8,000 of which appeared to be students. If the past is predicate, there will only be 1/3 as many students in attendance as there was for the opener so that will be a reduction of about 5,000 and I'll say that the UNC and OSU losses will mean that another couple thousand other fans won't show. That said, if we win the next three as we're fully capable of doing, we'll have about 45K for the next home game against Hawaii, which is the Sky Show. |

Well, I'll be there. But there's gonna be a lot of empty blue plastic -- I'd say about 45,000-worth.
20,000 actual butts in the seats, but they'll announce like 27,000 or so.

I don't think the loss hurts attendances; nor do I think a win would have helped. Now if we were undefeated and getting a little pub for being just outside the top 25, maybe... but other than some national buzz, its always just gonna be the regulars.

The announced attendance will be over, but the turnstile count (which we won't know until early next year) will be less. Much less, I fear.
