This game can go either way. I'm leaning toward an "L" because of our weak defense. The last time that SDSU played them, I thought we were going to kill them. Uhem.... they killed us. James Jone was a one man wrecking crew.

No game wll be easy if North Dakota was not.San Jose can pass the ball they almost beat Stanford. If we win it most likley will be 35 to 30 or something like that. Wyoming is one man team without Brett Smith they gained 278 total yards.

I see the odds of the game as a pick 'em. Pretty sad when you assume the home team gets 3 points. After tonight, I will no longer scoff at those writers who picked us to go 5-7 this year. Compliments of our Keystone Cops defense.

We will see the outcome in a week. For some reason I believe this to be correct.

Funny how some on this board, just a few days ago, were saying this may be the best Aztec defense they'd ever seen. Truth is, they are somewhere in between what you saw in the Army game and what you saw tonight. Rocky will get them straightened out.

We will be fine and we'll handle San Jose State. Don't overreact over one game. While disappointed with the defense's performance, the outcome was never in doubt.

And not one of the caliber of Cal Poly or North Dakota STATE. Maybe I am overreacting, but our defense was atrocious, there's just no getting around it.

North Dakota got more preseason votes than Cal Poly and beat a decent Sac State team. But I do agree the defense was atrocious, one saving grace is looking at the stats San Jose State's QB does not appear to be elusive, he has been in negative in rushing yards in each 3 games.

The defense was pathetic, but has it been all season? If not, this game was likely an aberration and not indicative of any future performances. Since I believe Washington's offense is better than North Dakota's, I'll use that performance to base my expectations and consider this just one of those days. It happens. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think the team will be just fine. Just to share a lil anecdote, last year I had a dominant team that handled every team we faced, but the toughest opponent was the worst team on our schedule. Sometimes things happen that shouldn't. Back to the Aztecs, in my opinion, the team was never concerned about losing, and I wouldn't be surprised if that played a factor in the defense's performance. Still, not taking an opponent seriously is a matter of concern and needs to be addressed.

Rocky saw this coming we do not mAtch up well aginst theri offense a v ery fast wr,big wr than do not drop balls. Our dline is almost all sophmores who are not good pass rushers but good against the run. We have a tiny middle linebacker. Thye MWC though is not strong league,Nevada has a good offense a horrible defense. ND is about as good or better than Cal Poly.fart worse defense much better offense. The defense was on existent, but penaltys giving them first downs after stops did not help. Stanford was lousy in teri first game, they have agreat defense but not much ofense.

SJSU has been playing pretty well this year.
The QB Fales has been on fire. He has a pretty good completion record. After 3 games, albeit 2 of them being Davis and Colorado State, he is 74/101 for 864 yards.
Eskridge is the biggest threat at RB. This still isn't SJSU's strength. He has 245 yards on 48 carries. He was the leading rusher for Wisconsin a couple of seasons but wanted to finish up closer to home. He is a senior.
Total yardage after three games is 1359. They did have more yardage than Stanford, but it was only about 10-15 yards more.
