Do you have to be naked to perform a rear naked choke? or is my coach just messing with me ;D It's called "naked" because it can be done without the GI on. Most GI chokes are done with the lapel (collar). The RNC is the ideal submission when you have someones back.

Anderson Silva or GSP?

WW division > MW division. That being said, Anderson Silva FINISHES fights and GSP hasn't been a finisher for a long time. Anderson Silva > GSP in the pound4pound discussion. Jon Jones is right up there too. Frankie Edgar is in the discussion too, especially if he finished Henderson this weekend. The LW division is the toughest in the UFC/World

Whats next for Rampage Jackson? He's been on a slump lately. You think he'll ever be a LHW title contender again?

Some early cultures found homosexuality a positive. I read in my latin culture class that the Aztecs felt if you liked both guy and girls you were right under the gods.

He will always be an exciting fighter and a good gatekeeper, but I don't see him ever fighting for the LHW belt again...unless Dana is trying to set up some super fight for ratings.

What MMA Venues are there here in San Diego?

Napo, the Diaz brothers are a unique pair. Everyone likes the fact that they genuinely like to fight and they have scrappy fights. I don't like the attitude and $#!+-talking really. Nick Diaz is bearable, Nate is just annoying.
cmonaztecs, There are occasionally fights at sports arena. Big organizations like Strikeforce and WEC have been there. There are amatuer MMA fights at 4th&B, garbage fights at some of the casinos out east. San Diego is one of the biggest MMA cities in the world, many great gyms with big name fighters, but still a crappy sports town. The UFC knows to stay away from SD.

So I'm watching the Chuck Liddell & Alistair Overeem fight they had on Pride back in 03 and couldn't help but notice that Overeem looked Anderson Silva thin back in those days. Steroids?

lol it's gotta be something. He says it's all the horse meat he eats in Holland. He went from 205 to 260 in just a couple of years and most of his fights were out of the U.S. where I doubt they tested him.
I wouldn't be surprised if he did, and Dana White wouldn't push a test on him since he is now a big draw for the UFC. Before AO was in the UFC/Zuffa, Dana cryed he was on roids. You be the judge.
pause at :05 mark
and pause this at the :04 mark
That is exactly two and a half years after the first one, a time when he was busy training (for 7 fights in between) and making weight for those fights, NOT just in the gym lifting.

He tested clean in the fight vs Lesnar, but not sure that changes a whole lot. Thoughts on tonight's Ultimate Fighter new season? Looking forward to Cruz and Faber as coaches.
