That flying knee KO was awesome, loved it. Have to disagree with you on Guida. His pace is relentless, maybe a little "wrestling-heavy" but the fight with Diego was legendary and I thought his matchup with Henderson was equally fun to watch.

Always great fights in Bellator Real talk! Hector Lombard is one of my favorite fighters from that organization. I'd like to see him in the UFC someday.

I'd love to see Lombard fight the top 10 MW in the world, which are all in the UFC. I think he would get wrestlef****d though.
I was at the L.A. fitness/mma expo in January of 2009, before Bellator was on TV or RIGHT when it started on TV, and there were some MMA fighters there. There was an hour and half line for Urijah Faber, a few people around Thiago Silva (right after his fight with Rashad I think) and Lombard was so lonely by himself. I was walking over to him and he called me over and offered me a signature because nobody else was around haha. He seemed like a cool guy, there would definetly be a line for his signature now.

What is Anthony Johnson & Nate Marquardt up to these days? I'd like to see one of them fight Lombard.

Rumble somewhere at a buffet in Vegas and I think Nate is holding out for the UFC to bring him back. Not sure though. I'd love to see either one of those guys in Bellator but their champion clause may be turning guys away. Once you are the champion, you are under contract with them until you lose. A superfight between Lombard and one of those two would be sweet.

Wow, Eric Prindle awarded 100k as Thiago Santos missed weight!

Wow, Eric Prindle awarded 100k as Thiago Santos missed weight! WHAAATTTTTT!?!?!? he was going to miss weight last week and he STILL couldn't drop it?!?!? Prindle got a break. This does not help the image of Bellator trying to be a legit organization. The LHW and HW are by far their shallowest divisions. They should sign Joey Beltran. Santos was -500 in odds for this one btw.

UFC is starting to become a little bit overwhelming with all these guys coming in and out every show I think they need to make Strikeforce the training grounds. After doing well or winning the belt in Strikeforce then you can come over to UFC as a top 10 guy and work your way up.

After doing well or winning the belt in Strikeforce then you can come over to UFC as a top 10 guy and work your way up. That's what I thought they were planning on doing once Zuffa bought SF. Like a "minors" for the UFC. Do you think the UFC will ever ditch the PayPerView?

No they won't there is to much money in pay per view to leave it but having to buy it every month does cost alot to be able to know whats going on and why people are getting title fights. I think they need to make 2 title fights per PPV and only have one every 2-3 months

they have too many big name fighters to do that few cards. I think the sport has plateaued or is close to it, PPV buys are dropping.

The PPV buys are dropping cuz there not putting good names on there put out cards like the January card every other month with top fights from top to bottom and people will buy. Then put the middle fighters on TV for free so people grow an interest in them as the UFC Fight Night Cards. I think PPV should be #1 contender matches or title fights.

yea, if you're paying $55 or whatever to watch, it should be at least 1 title fight.
Do you think Santos purposely missed weight? If he beat Prindle and Konrad, he would be tied down to Bellator until he lost. Maybe he thought he had a chance at the UFC? I mean, rumors are he was +300 lbs on March 14th, 12lbs over the day of weigh ins last week, and STILL over this week.

I think Santos is just fed up with Bellator and wants to leave I don't know id Dana will like the way he did it though.

Maybe Dana offered him a deal if he did it. Santos has the skills to fight at the UFC level and I know Dana would pull something like that.

I can't believe Woodard pulled that off, I was ready for Pitbull to take his head off.

What do you guys think of Dana's attempts to sue users that watched pay per view events?

What do you guys think of Dana's attempts to sue users that watched pay per view events? Haven't heard that. Sounds Dana-ish though. He needs to get the UFC off pay-per-view soon, with the economy how it is and the sport "plateauing", he can't continue to charge $60 a card. Really hope Bellator and the other smaller organizations can put the pressure on Dana...
