Jon Jones wants to move to heavyweight eventually.
Jon Jones vs Junior Dos Santos. Finally Bones gets an actual challenge. Talk about a dream fight.

Yea he's said he wants to do so in 4-5 fights iirc. I think it's a good idea for him and the UFC, he will be much more marketable to the casual fans if he is a HW vs a LHW.

Jones is such a stud. I hope he just destroys Rashad. Can't stand him, a guy who has made a name of himself by beating one or two quality fighters.

I just hope Greg Jackson doesn't do to JBJ what he did to GSP and dull him down

In downright shocking news (Sarcasm inserted here)....Alistair Overeem has tested positive for elevated levels of testosterone. UFC 146's main event is in serious jeopardy.

I just heard that. Can't say I'm surprised. This will scrap 2 of those fights as I see Mir taking his place.

I like how page 1 of this thread was dedicated to Overeem's steroid speculation and BAM, he tests positive.

The UFC will never be the same without Brock, they just lost a SHITLOAD of casual fans. I have friends that haven't watched a WWE match since they were like 12, but now watch again because the Rock and Brock are both back.

I use to be a huge wrestling fan but the internet made it faker than it already was and I lost interest. MMA will always be king because its real and unscripted.

SDFF, do you watch Bellator? IMO, Bellator/Strikeforce are the highest level of competition in the US, outside of UFC of course, that has exciting fights. UFC is lightyears ahead in talent, but the fights are not as exciting because guys are scared to lose and drop too far from a title shot and the talent is so closely matched. My point is, if you don't watch Bellator, start.

I would like to see a company like Bellator or King of the Cage give the UFC a run for its money like Pride did back in the day so maybe we can see some Champion vs Champion super fights.

Dana White is too cocky to allow a champ vs. champ fight with another org. Dana doesn't want the public to thing the UFC is on the same level as any other org. I love KOTC and other local mma shows, Gladiator Challenge comes to Hemet a few times a year and THAT is a f****** $#!+ show lol. 30+ fights, guys with 0-12 records, guys wearing shirts, guys that don't train, guys who fight on literally 20 minute notice and no real order in the fight card...but it's just as fun to watch lol

That Gladiator Challenge sounds like my type of show. You ever been to the Epic Fighting events they hold out here?

No, for the $$, it's not worth it. They are getting better though so I may go to one one day.
