Let's hope the profound advantage of the home field works it's magic. If not, beating Air Farce on five days prep makes it the most important game of the season. Huge!

Take note, Aztec fans, that Rocky Long places TCU in the same class as Michigan so I hope we will stop hearing "guarantees" of a win against TCU. The predictions of 12, 11, 10 or even 9 wins at the beginning of the season were ridiculous.

If coach _oax really thought he put this team together to beat Meatchicken then mich. must have been a real mess before he brought Mattison & the other guy in. I imagine in his mind with Rocky & the other guy as OC he could beat the mess that was Meatchicken under Rich Rod! That's how I see it.

Maybe Tim Sullivan should have taken this into consideration before he threw a tantrum about Rocky's not allowing the players to be interviewed:
"In the locker room after the game, many players were practically inconsolable. They were in such bad shape emotionally that head coach Rocky Long even decided to make them unavailable for questions from the media afterward. Normally, win or lose, Aztec players dutifully talk about their performance with reporters.
“They were very emotional after the game, depressed, disappointed, upset, however you want to say,” said Long, whose team dropped to 3-1 after Saturday’s 28-7 defeat. “It was a very emotional locker room after the game and not in a good sense.”
They probably would have done a “poor job” of answering questions, Long said, so he kept them behind closed doors. “It’s my job to protect them,” Long said Sunday. “This is not pro football.”
Pathetic Tim, just pathetic. Kman out

I wish Coach Long would have called him out, the way OSU's Gundy called out that reporter who used similar language towards the cowboys after a tough loss in 07. youtu.be/aoMmbUmKN0EHang in there fellas. You're 0-0 in MWC play. And that's all that matters now. You guys can still bring the hardware home! Go Aztecs!

I just can't get out the image of this team crying in the locker room after having a bad tuesday practice and flipping their skirt up gameday. They need a swift kick in the ass or this year's in trouble.
But, what player is going to rally the troops? Who leads this defense? Who leads by example or vocal on that o-line? We need someone to step up and take over this team, still way too T-bone Craft and Chuck Long Soft.
Jake Fely maybe needs to step up in that locker room?
This team needs to get a lot tougher: cHokes the last 2 years, 'too emotional' i.e. crying. Time to sack up

They lost the a much better TCU team by 5 at their place. Not to take anything for TCU, but MI was totally a unknown for these guys, the emotions tied to this game, and they lost. Plus State is at home and hopefully have a great crowd. Lets not get totally negative, we must take ONE GAME AT A TIME. I know some of you don't want to hear this, but this team needs to focus only on whose next on the schedule.

Did they get blown out like 40+ points, embarrassing their coaches, the university, the fans, and most importantly themselves? No. They lost to a better team. Why is it that State fans always bring up the "Good ol bad days" when they lose. T Craft/C Long era is over. These kids have come a long way and had played hard and had success until MI. I know your disappointed with the outcome, but come on, bring up Craft and Chuck Long? Really? When did Craft/Long teams start 3-1, .. never.

Can we just mail in 6 Ws? Of course not. But we can do it. And if we don't and win 8, 7 or 6, then we'll send you a postcard from the bowl game. Since you love to dwell on the negative, tell us who the 3+ remaining losses will be. I believe that we will win. You believe that we will lose.

Sullivan considers himself an intellectual of the highest level ;D And to think that they gave him the job when Ed Graney was already on their staff. What a joke!

Wasn't it Chuck Long that was closing all the practices to the media and would not let SDSU players speak with them post game? I remember the UT was crying foul on that too.

I'd rather them take it hard than just do a collective "oh well" and leave it at that. They know they laid an egg Saturday, and that should make them angry. That, in turn, should have them breathing fire against TCU.
I think the Frogs better be ready for a buzzsaw at The Q.
