DAM. I was hoping Bob Lopez stayed here. Why? He was a really good admin according to most on this board. EDIT: He was also intstrumental in helping the first Coach Long get our team academics in order (setting up the study halls and such). |

Damn it! I can see taking the Ball State coaches but taking Lopez who was head of football operations under C. Long is really stripping us bear. Just think if Rocky left what would have we done?

I was a big Hoke fan and supporter, including his move to to a bigger job for his career goals. I understood completely. However, he has turned out to be a complete A** Hole by raiding our coaching staff.
He has almost unlimited resources at UM, in terms of $ for his Asst Coaches. His poaching of ours shows a complete lack of regard for this University, where he was given the support and opportunity to get his "Dream Job".
I could understand taking the guys he brought with him from Ball State, etc. But the Lopez move really demonstrates his lack of regard for SDSU and further shows what a complete mercenary bastard he really is.
I wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire.

I see Harbaugh replacing him after he washes out with the 49ers in 2 or 3 years. No different from most college coaches when they graduate to the NFL. |
