Jeremy Bates would be interesting choice. West coast recruiting, I thought he did a pretty good job in seattle considering the talent level, may have been over his head in the NFL but would fit in with SDSU. Not sure if USCs offensive system was the same.

My guess (not my hope) is that: Rocky will be the defensive coordinator for 2011 Toledo will be the offensive coordinator for 2011. Good educated guesses...both are wrong though. Fact. Expect to learn the new DC this week. All I'm sayin'

Players were told they will know today. I don't know more than that or if it's all coaching spots. Let's support our new coaches our team, forget Hoke, spend energy on something other than Zuma and beat BYU.
Go Aztecs.

;D My final guess: OC - Tyrone Willingham, Walsh Standford coaching tree or Brian Billick, former AZTEC TE coach and Super Head Coach; DC - Matt Wallerstedt - Air Force Assistant Head Coach/DC/ILB coach These are my best guesses. Willingham is retired but less that 60 yr. old, and Air forces plays a similar flex defense between 3 DL and 4DL, if he is interested I would take him. walkonfan...out!

my guess is OC: Karl Dorrell DC: Osia Lewis I guessed Lewis two weeks ago but obviously somebody in the media did too so he contacted Lewis who said he had already told Rocky no.

He didn't say no, he said he wasn't in the mix and it was unclear if Rocky had contacted him or not. My guess is that he was further down on the list and Rocky was trying to convince Reffett to come to SDSU when he was asked about the job by the UT.

You do know that is from when Hoke was first hired right? I wonder what Eric Lewis is doing nowadays....He only lasted one year as the DC at EMU. Did he jump back to the NFL?

I may be stupid but I'm not dumb enough to have thought that at a time we were all wondering whether Brady Hoke was leaving for Michigan that he was actually thinking of replacing Rocky Long as his DC at SDSU. My point was merely that I never once heard a rumor about Hoke considering Osia Lewis to be his DC. Did you?

After reading the Cal boards, I'm feeling better and better about my prediction of Ludwig. They want him out of there ASAP. Before all of the "Why would we want him if they don't" guys start chiming in remember Auburn dumped Borges after similar chatter. Here's some hype from his Cal bio... www.calbears.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/ludwig_andy00.html

isn't Ludwig a spread guy? We need a QB under center and RB's that run down hill - if he can do that, his resume looks pretty good.
